You are welcome to visit Lancing College Chapel, open to the public from 10. 00–16. 00 Monday to Saturday, and 12. 00–16. 00 on Sundays & Bank Holidays*.
*Closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day, Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Lancing College Chapel Description
Lancing College was founded by Nathaniel Woodard, curate of Shoreham-by-Sea, in 1848. Dedicated to Saints Mary and Nicolas, after the beautiful ancient churches of Shoreham, the school moved to its present position in 1857. The Founder believed in the educational value of 'correct buildings', and the architecturally spectacular chapel was built as the place of worship for Lancing College, and the Central Minster of all the schools founded by Woodard.

Throw back Monday! 41 years ago today our glorious rose window was dedicated. A service attended by the Archbishop of Canterbury, trumpeters from Royal academy of military at Kneller hall and hundreds of people. Today the window is still admired by the hundreds of people a year that visit the Chapel. 📷Ash Mills

We regret to announce that due to a sickness bug in the College we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the Carol Service this Friday. In so doing we are prioritising the health of our visitors, pupils and staff. We realise that this will be disappointing and would like to offer our heartfelt apologies to all those who will have been looking forward to the service. However on careful review of the situation we have decided that this is what is right and best to do in these circumstances.
Unfortunately tickets are not transferable.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Chapel is closed until Saturday 8th December. We apologise for any inconvenience.
