Following incidents of anti-social driving & risks to pedestrians at the Widewater West Car Park speed bumps will be installed as preventative measures to mitigate these problems. This work was started last Saturday but was not able to be finished. Consequently, work to complete this task will take place this Saturday, 22nd June, commencing at 6:00 am. Like last week, this means that all of the West Car Park at Widewater Lagoon will be closed at 6:00 am but parts will re-open as work progresses during the course of the day, with the whole of the West Car Park being open at around 4:00 pm. The entrance to the Widewater West Car Park will be coned off & an operative will be on duty to inform the public. Please note that the Widewater East Car Park will be open as usual.

рҹҷҶвҖҚвҷҖпёҸрҹӨёвҖҚвҷҖпёҸGreat News вҖ“ Sompting Big Local and Lancing Parish Council have partnered and both have committed funds to the total of ВЈ25,000 to regenerate Croshaw Recreation Ground Play Area (the existing swings and mulitplay will stay, but all the surfacing will be renewed and additional equipment installed). Three suppliers submitted designs, but the preferred option was this one as it gives best value in terms of both play and money - We hope you think so too!
