Lcs Engineering Outpost Description

Engineering Outpost of the Last Chancers

I have been repairing Airsoft guns and kit for over 7 years now, with a background in Engineering and Electronics.
I take pride in building the internals of a rifle up to a good standard. We have all been to a game day and had your pride and joy fail mid game. . . My aim is to prevent that happening!

We do standard AEG /GBB /PTW and Pistol repairs.

Some prices for AEGs to give you an example:

Standard Service: £35
Description:
Strip gearbox, clean, re-lube, re-shim, correct angle of engagement, check air seals, replace o-ring if needed.

Repairs:
For in gearbox repairs:
Same as a standard service + Parts cost.
Description:
As standard service plus fitting of the new parts. From experience it is not worth just dropping a new part in without checking everything over to make sure its not going to break 20 minutes into your next game day. . .

Out of gearbox repairs:
Things like the hop unit, motor replacements, inner barrel issues etc can be much quicker easier to diagnose.
Cost £25 plus parts.

Rewiring:
Most AEG's come with inadequate wiring and /or connectors.
A rewire to 16AWG silicone coated cable including deans connectors and a full service.
Cost £45

MOSFETS:
I build up two types of MOSFET unit. The simnple unit, which just functions as an electronic switch, and the Active Braking MOSFET which improves single shot performance.

Simple MOSFET
Includes: Service, Rewire, MOSFET build.
This is good for fully auto only builds like M249's etc. We can also rewire box mags to run when the trigger is pulled.
Cost: £55

Active Braking MOSFET
Includes: Service, Rewire, Active Braking MOSFET build.
This in my opinion a must for AEG's, single shot is improved as the gearbox cycles more consistently, more power to the motor,
Cost: £65

Anything else. . . give me a shout. We enjoy making up custom rifles from parts, machining custom parts, we have extensive machinery available to produce most items. Have a look at the photo album for ideas!

Managed to get a couple of hours in the workshop today. One magazine shortened, and an mp5 flash hider threaded.

Spent this evening making these tiny tapered pins. Fitting them to these L85 bodies.

Boring, but essential... Guttering fitted. Looking to store the water at the back in some ibc containers... Unless people have better ideas?

Currently we have a large backlog of work and running very behind on existing jobs (Way more than usual!)
So in order to try and catch up we will not be taking on any new jobs before May.
If we have already spoken then drop me a message.

I might be making a batch of these adaptors for a local business... But do you recognise the original flash hider?

Adding filler to cover the join after a bit so great attempt with some epoxy.
A bit of sanding and they should be good to go.

Working through my jobs list... Fore grip has been shortened. Waiting for the first glue to set, then on with the epoxy and shaping.
The PDW that never was...

Morning all!
I'm currently ill with some kind of eye infection. It's a bit hard to see... So playing with machines is a no go and answering messages will be a bit delayed.

Workshop MK3 progress pictures!
It's water proof! Insulation up, DPM and battens fixed.
Roof is pretty much ready for the slates, working on cladding the back wall so we can get the roof verge perfect.
... ... And I have 600 metres of shiplap to paint...
