Leonardslee

Leonardslee is a country house and landscaped woodland garden in Lower Beeding, near Horsham, West Sussex, England. The garden is particularly noted for its spring displays of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, magnolias and bluebells, with the flowering season reaching its peak in May. The house and gardens were acquired in July 2017 by the Benguela Collection, owned by Penny Streeter OBE. They are scheduled to reopen to the public in March 2018, having been closed since July 2010. The Benguela Collection are also owners of Mannings Heath Golf Club & Wine Estate in Horsham, just three miles away. The main 19th-century Italianate style house and a 19th-century octagonal lodge to the north west of the main house are listed Grade II for their architectural merit. The garden is listed Grade I on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.
