Fantastic Shop - great see-through deep freezes - marvellous prices - free parking (PCC please note) well worth a visit - fresh baked bread and rolls etc. Pleasant staff on tills.

I'd like to give 5 stars but after the shopping trip I've just had I'm not. Did a decent shop, small trolley totally full, go to pay, there isn't one till on. Everything's self service. So we had to put the whole lot through SS which took forever. Complained to a lady who was very apologetic, she's come in to help out because apparently there was only two staff on and people hadn't turned up for their shifts. Forgot to ask her name but she deserves a pay rise! She's had to get a guy called Lee to help out with a couple of items that wouldn't go through SS he was also very apologetic..... So as we leave, I heard him tell her they'd be closing SS and putting her on a till (which we'd suggested several times!). We use the shop a lot, it's always irritated me how you get rushed through the tills and can't pack as you go (alright, I know staff have targets to meet) but tonight was just ridiculous. Not enough staff and the ones you have got are stressed and harassed. Felt sorry for them.
