Like 2 Lift – Setting Up and Repping Out.
From the same dedicated team that brought you Like 2 Fight (www. like2fight. co. uk) comes the eagerly anticipated Like 2 Lift.
Like 2 Lift broadens the appeal of the current gym (based in Redhill, Surrey) specifically in to the strength training arena. However Like 2 Lift is no ordinary weights room. We’re committed to taking the best of what’s currently in the market to create a unique strength, power and conditioning gym experience. Our ethos is about employing the advances in modern sports science, whilst retaining an ‘old school’ train hard mentality to help you maximise your potential and reach your personal goals.
Like 2 Lift has the full suite of free weights, racks and machines you’d expect to find (check out our gallery photos) plus a few other unusual pieces you may not be so familiar with! Ever tried the Farmers Walk or used Atlas Stones before? Didn’t think so. However everything in our gym is there for you to use, and comes with the support and training as needed by our qualified instructors. Whether you’re a seasoned bodybuilder or just looking to improve you game with a bit of off season strength training, we can tailor a programme just for you.
So if you have ambitions to be the next Worlds Strongest Man, are looking to move up a weight category in MMA or just want to explore and enjoy the benefits of adding some resistance training to you existing workout – Like 2 Lift has something for you.
What we are most definitely not is a big faceless corporate gym, who will take your money and then stand by and watch as your routine becomes stale and your enthusiasm wanes. It’s the people that make the gym, and we think we’ve got some of the best around!

We went there with our son for his first Power Lifting competition and did not know what to expect. We had a great day all the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcoming.

Our Fantastic PT James Matthew Baker. My Sister and I have worked with James for 5 months now and have seen great improvements within our physical fitness & self confidence. My Sister Helen has improved on her stamina, body control & has shed a whopping 2 stone. Whilst I am pulling three times my body weight. My upper body strength was extremely weak before training with James and now I would say that my upper body is as strong or even stronger than my Lower body strength which was always my best strength out of the two.My body has become very toned and is beginning to shape up very nicely. I couldn't imagine life without training -It's a big part of me now, I not only feel great physically but my mental strength and confidence has rocketed. If u wanna see real positive improvement in your body physically and need a long term confidence boost then work with Baker. 😉💪🏻

In 40 years of training with some amazing strength athletes, I would have to say that today's work out was one of the best ever from a strength point of view. I hit a huge target today. You can only do that with great atmosphere, great coaches and a gym full of people who know what they are doing - oh yes - and enough heavy plates to load the bar up !
