We are closed this week for annual leave but here are some pictures of what we have been up to in the last two weeks.

Happy Mother’s Day to all our mums, we hope you have a lovely day.
Our little ones made some lovely bits for their mums this week, they loved making them.

What an awesome week we’ve had, lots of outings and adventures. Lots of empty lunch and dinner plates and children developing their skills. 🤗

Luke and I throughly enjoyed entertaining our cheeky Chimp Rocco’s superhero themed 3rd birthday party today. Children of all ages joined in. Thank you for having us.

So far this week we’ve been to Cha Char Chimps and Playgroup. A few of the children can now do jigsaws without adult help and name colours, shapes and animals.

A full on morning of dancing, singing, reading and shop role play and my little ones today have all flaked out 🥰

So far this week we have been to Cha Char Chimps on Monday fancy dress, and Tuesday we’ve had our shop and cafe out serving up tea, coffee and cake. We’ve gone for a stroll and read books. Playgroup and more outings set up for the rest of the week with plenty of learning opportunities. Looking forward to it.

Thursday and Friday we set up small world play and enjoyed dressing up and ride on toys. Next week world book week and pancake day! Looking forward to it.

What a week so far:- Monday we went to Cha Char Chimps Bushmead, Tuesday Stockwood Park and today Hullabaloo playgroup and then we baked cakes. 😊

Parents/Carers please be vigilant when youngsters are on iPads, Amazon Fires and mobiles etc. Please also be vigilant as there are some Peppa Pig and kinder egg programs on YouTube/ Kids YouTube with self harming scenes.
Please monitor your child’s usage.
... To air in the side of caution we are restricting the use of devices here at the setting and children will be closely monitored.

Come along and join us tomorrow morning at 10am, we’re on every other week in Caddington and it’s pay as you go. Includes drinks and cake. 😋

Lovely day at Woodside Animal Farm today and totally wore the little ones out. We’ve had laughs, animal noises, counting and colours today on our outing then lots of 💤 in the car on the way back 🥰.

Yesterday we visited Little Rascals in Hitchin, everyone loved it and we had a lovely lunch there too. In the afternoon we enjoyed painting, building blocks and small world play.

It’s a quiet half term week here at Little Poppets. Today we did some painting, homemade play dough and went to Stockwood Park to get some fresh air and run about. Our push chair bambino’s are starting to try and walk so encouraged them to have a little walk about 😊
