A visit to the station from Halfway school this morning to learn about the duties of a fire fighter and learning the importance of having working smoke alarms at home. Well done to year 2 of halfway school for being so well behaved and asking very good questions during the visit.

Managing Director Of LTC Mobility Llanelli, Alan Davies attended the station this evening to kindly donating money to WM Oliver and the On call crew for our Station Open Day 21st of September 2019.

Red watch called to Station Road Llanelli this morning to deal with a unsafe structure, to deal with it effectively sketty aerials appliance was utilised to assist in bring the incident to a safe end.

Blue watch attended RTC in Gowerton area today, Excellent partnership working with police, ambulance and our colleagues station 41 Gorseinon no major injuries.

On call crews attended a tanker accident on the A40 yesterday, Llandovery and Llanwrtwd Wells were assisted by 61H1 Llanelli EPU supporting NRW to mitigate the environmental impact of the incident.

Llanelli appliances have been called to North Dock to extinguish more deliberate grass fires today.... Arson is a serious crime please educate your children and make them aware of the potential consequences.

Llanelli Blue Watch out this morning with the Arson Reduction team in the Genwen Rd area of Llwynhendy, after a incident earlier this week in Genwen quarry.

Richard fuller and his team of South wales Firefighters are at it again raising money for Maggies Cancer Care centers pushing there bodies to the limit attempt 5 ironman triathlons in 5 days!! With a view to carrying on and trying 10 in 10 days which less than 100 people in the world have managed.
