Maidenhead Aquatics@Woking is a medium-sized store with a good selection of livestock and friendly, experienced staff. Every area of the aquatic hobby is catered for with a good range of dry goods. Community freshwater and Reef tanks are a speciality. The Marine and Fancy Goldfish systems underwent a major refit at the end of 2015, with the Marine system being extended to accommodate a larger range of fish and inverts.

One of our staff has had a pair of Tefe discus in his 200 litre tank for one week and have now spawned.
For people who are thinking of setting up a Discus community or more of a natural set up, here are some great companion fish that will tolerate the higher temperatures needed by Discus. Temperatures required are between 28-30c. A group size of 8-10 Discus in total is recommended. Juvenile Discus can be kept as a group of 10 in 180 litres, adults as a group in 300 litres. So take this in to account when/if you are adding other species.
