Reviews
We are sad to announce that David Baker-Beall, who started Mammoth Boot Fairs in September 1988, died peacefully in his sleep on 1st January 2019, after a long illness.
David loved the Boot Fairs and it is thanks to him that Mammoth Boot Fairs is the success it is today. He was always delighted to chat with everyone who attended and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
The new season will start in April 2019.
... RIP David.

Mammoth Boot Fairs would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came to our 30th Birthday Boot Fair yesterday and especially to all those who donated to Alzheimer’s Research. We raised an amazing £345.54 from the collection and we have doubled that and rounded it up to £700. A fantastic result -so again, thank you everyone.

love this boot fair, it's the best by far. Always a good variety. My only dislike is trying to get back on that main road after
excellent boot fair for selling I stall up here every sunday and really enjoy it but a word of advice to potential sellers that you have to watch out for 2 male buyers first thing they come to your car asking for video computer games or consoles and they claim to have collections at home but they are not collectors these are 2 jokers who nick games from kids and fill ebay up they are to be avoided as they will beat the seller down on prices and then brag to others about their purchases then one of them has the nerve to call me a dealer when all I am is a reseller or a recycler of items
Went along early this morning! By far the best boot fair great start back! Walked away with a lot of had too be bargains
We have been going to this bootsale for so long. It never disappoints! Always lots of sellers and buyers! Staff are always lovely and friendly! By far the best bootsale we have ever done or been too! X
We are so lucky to live just 10 mins away from this great booty .. we go every week
Was very hot but a great day
Very good loads of room. Would be nice though if early sellers could set up before general public come in
Such a fantastic place with 2 available fields, both are very big and hold a fair few sellers and even more buyers. There must be close to a thousand people passing through on a good Day (Sunday and bank holiday Mondays).
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the huge size of the bootsale you need to keep you wits about you.... There are thiefs and scammers and anyone asking for something in particular is obviously a trader (wanting to buy cheap and sell high)
Staff are normally friendly and helpful (as friendly as anyone can be getting up at silly o'clock to go to work to deal with a half asleep mass of humans)
Come see for yourself!
Some great traders here with a fantastic range of products.
My first boot fair as a seller, excellent day apart from the rain 😢But we sold what we came to sell and will definately do it again.
My favourite big boot-sale, only found out about it this year. A better class of people leads to a better class of tat to buy =) Lots of sellers, great refreshments, easy parking and cheap entry. <3
Literally the highlight of my week. I have been going for over 25 years and wouldn't consider any other bootie! I was taken as a child and now I take mine along each week. Fresh air, lazy walk and bargains. Perfect.
Great boot fair, we’ve been coming for years. Does anyone have a contact number/information on the man who sells chrysanthemum plants? We bought 3 the other week and they are fantastic, we want to buy more. He is normally by one of the entrances in the Bramley site, not sure if I’ve seen him at Cophall.
Fantastic bootfair
Can't wait for boot fair to start. Great comment about bogus elderly man collecting for children's charity. He has been doing it for years and have witnessed him being marched out of other boot fairs. Con man.
Best bootfair by far! lots of stalls every week, amazing coffee bar, loads of parking, friendly staff, variety of items, bouncy castle, pony rides - great place to find a bargain!
Best boot fair in the county but dont always get enough space as i have a lot of stuff but would not go anywhere else great team thanks guys
Amazing place to come and sell your unwanted things also great place to bag a bargain...
Amazing bootfair as both a seller and a buyer, huge range of stuff and good food vendors. Only small gripes are no set up time before public allowed in and the path/trail out is horrible for a small car.
