Manic Monsters are happy to say we have organised a clothes & shoe collection with Bag2School in order to raise funds for Garden Resources for Montys Day Care.
As well as raising funds for Montys Day Care, it also helps the environment by helping to divert unwanted textiles away from landfill.
By getting involved in our Bag2School collection, you have an opportunity to sort through your cupboards and wardrobes and donate unwanted textiles – this can include adults’ and child...ren’s clothes, shoes (tied together please), hats, belts, handbags and soft toys, (please refer to http://uk.bag2school.com/ for full details). In addition to raising funds it will also raise awareness amongst the children of the benefits of recycling and reuse.
Feel free drop a filled bag off in Manic Monsters after Monday 12th November or pop in and pick up a Bag2School bag -If you fill the donation bag and still have more then you can use any other bag to donate your items and don’t forget to ask grandparents, friends and neighbours to have a sort out as well!
Bag2School will be collecting from us on Friday 16th November 2018. Please bring your bag (or bags!) and help us have a really good collection.
Many thanks

We have been coming here for the last 14 years but never had a party here, yesterday we had my son's 6th party here with a group of 10 children.. the service, food, music and lights were great and my son has said time and time again 'it was the BEST party ever!' So thankyou so much, one of the mum's in our group also booked a party for her little girl's 4th party whilst we were there! X

User

This is the best run, cleanest soft play centre I have ever taken my kids too.

Food; reasonably priced fast food with great specials, pasta dishes for kids, check out the Spinach wrap for adults, and great chicken burgers.

My children love it here.

User

Love the freedom the kids have so much for them to do.. great to catch up with friends or just on your own.. I just love being able to read my book and drink a cuppa whilst kids let off steam

User

I love this place and so does my daughter. Well priced entrance fees for both children and adults not feeling like I need to remortgage my house to go as with many other well known large chain soft play areas. The food is well priced and a great choice. The equipment has an extensive range and is always clean and tidy. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I will rather travel the half hour it takes me to get here than any other closer soft play centre.

User

Brilliant soft play. Really friendly staff and a cafe which 1- doesn't fleece parents 2- does great food and coffee and 3- gives children healthy options.

We traveled from Norwich as my wife was on a training course near by and really pleased we found it!

Nice clean environment and my 16month old had a great two hours! Really nice to see a company who obviously cares and doesn't rip off families 👍

User

Play area good, staff friendly BUT don't agree with adults having to pay for entrance basically to buy a drink and sit down. I did intend to pay for two hours play then give kids lunch but was not going to pay an additional £6 to eat there! So we ate elsewhere. Shame, I think the management should be reading these reviews. A few small changes and it would be perfect!

User

Our son attended a birthday party at Manic Monsters and he loved it. The areas we used were clean/tidy and staff were friendly and approachable. Would visit again.

User

I have happily driven from Croydon down to Edenbridge way to visit Manic Monsters (Manic Monster Munch if you my DD). I'm always happy with the costings (£12 and change ) for a 2 hour stay. I love the options for the younger children. As a 'hands on' parent I tend to get in and play with my two to make sure they are comfortable with the layout of it all and with the slide heights (yes..I have to test it out at least once). The under 5's play zone allows my youngest the chance to explore a smaller frame without dad allowing me to sip a coffee and recover my back and knees before going back in.

The staff are always friendly and helpful, and unlike horror houses (*cough*Gambados) that take alot of money and then ignore the children and their behaviour ..the staff here "WILL" come and tell the children not to climb the wrong way on the slides and keep an eye on the older ones taking over. Although at all play zones the parents need to take their faces out of their phones for 2 mins and remind little Peter or Jane that they shouldn't hit/bite/ swear at other children...Manic Monsters staff are around the site more than many other play zones keeping an eye.

Food and drink are reasonably priced and there is a good choice of options available.

Toilets are always clean and nice to use (always very important to me).

And on the drive home my youngest falls asleep shattered from her time (bonus).

So I recommended the place alot. Well worth the drive out (which is a lovely drive) past the Kidspace and Gambados money grabbing hell holes to somewhere I enjoy taking my family. You can do alot worse.

User

Great play centre for kids of all ages, lots to play with/on and in.

Very clean and tidy and staff were great.

Food wasn't very good but other then that we had a great time

User

Been to manic monsters a lot, both during the week and at weekends. During the week is a lot quieter and a lot easier on the stress levels. weekends have a lot of parties in and it can be difficult to watch your child. out of the 3/4 soft plays I go to this is one of the better ones though. the food can be hit and miss but had a few meals that were OK. One criticism I really have of soft plays in general, not just this one, is that there isn't usually a space for pre-crawlers or there is and the rule that older children aren't allowed in isn't enforced. with 10mth old twins and a 2.5yr old it makes places like this really difficult to visit.

User

My son and his friend loved it, however I felt the staff could be a little more organised and on the ball they are there to work after all to make the atmosphere a pleasant experience for others, ordering food was very painful as there was a lot of workers behind the counter but only a couple actually working, it took ages to get served. Other then that the children loved it and suppose that what counts.

User

Lovely place for the kids to play but was charged today for an overstay which has never happened before. Kidspace charge a single price for entry with no danger of running over time whilst the kids play, you spend money in the cafe, feed the kids then suddenly realise you only paid for two hours. Enquired about season tickets today and was surprised to find that you only get 2 hours play for that as well so really not worth it! Will not be rushing back!

User

It's a clean very well equipped soft play centre, not cheap but worth it. However, the price of food is REALLY over priced for the quality! Eat before you go! The strict no own food is policed strictly so don't risk taking any in! I would love to give more stars as we do love the soft play but there's a few things that I just can't give any more stars for.

User

Extremely expensive!!! Paid for 2 hours for 4 kids and 1 adult at the cost of £30!!!! Then told we could have lunch afterwards as we'd have to pay for an extra hour??? Food and drinks prices are reasonable, but whole experience was steep!

Having said all that my kids loved it and want to go back!!! I'll wait till I remortgage first!!!!

User

Could not believe I had to pay full price for a 10 month old . I was asked on entry whether he was crawling , so I honestly said he was . I knew as this was a new experience for him that he would not go too far from me. I had paid full entrance for two three year olds . I real that until children are fully using the play equipment that this was far too expensive. I have always enjoyed visits to Manic Monsters , but would now think again . Also when I questioned my entrance fee was told by the receptionist , I don't make rules here. How rude.

User

We had an interesting visit. Attended for a birthday party recently. The owners had the audacity to charge the party organiser in our group an additional £14 for the party girl and her sister's extended stay after the party, despite having already spent £17 a head x 30 odd children and a further sum on copious cups of tea, coffee and other refreshments - business only generated because of the party. I paid extra for a meal for my two children who weren't part of the party. Very mediocre with wilted, brown lettuce and past their sell by date chips on my son's plate, and peas that looked more than a little worse for wear on my daughter's. Positively dehydrated actually. Parents are also charged £1.50 to get in, apparently because we 'use the toilets' and other facilities. Really? You could do much, much better Manic Monsters. You're very lucky you don't have any competition in the area.

User

It's really a shame, we love the climbing and play at manic monsters but the food was awful paid 30 pounds for two adult burgers that was awful for 7 pounds each (I could make a better burger for less then 2 pounds) and a kids burger my daughter didnt even eat (she said it tasted like plastic) and sausage and chips my son did not even touch..

You should really look into your food quality I don't mind paying for good yummy food

User

Really, really poor service at Manic Monsters this afternoon, to the point we won't be returning. The Manager wouldn't come out of their office to help with a car park issue, and after struggling outside in the rain with 5 children aged between 2 and 7, I asked if we could go back inside to dry off and told we could wait 'just inside the door'. We had to wait a total of 90 minutes before we got picked up by a taxi and was showed so compassion, no empathy, if fact no anything - therefore, no repeat business. Shame on you!!

User

I am absolutely disgusted with manic monsters, I cannot believe they were not willing to help my husband and my friend with five children under the age of 7yrs who had their cars stuck in the car park next door, they wouldn't of had to park next door if you had a bigger car park, to make five children wait outside on a cold, wet winters day is horrific. Shame on you, you are happy to take our money but not happy to help. Shame on you.

User
