Marleybrook House is a beautifully unique wedding venue set in the quaint village of Preston, Canterbury. The venue is centred around a stunning 17th Century thatched farmhouse.

Marleybrook House is an immaculately presented seventeenth century 'chocolate box' thatched Country House full of unique character, history and old world charm. Former home to the legendary international singer, actress and caberet star Eartha Kitt, Marleybrook House is in a secluded location, offering total privacy and exclusivity, yet just seven miles from the city of Canterbury. Nestled within five acres, the landscaped gardens, paddocks and woodland provide the perfect setting for a quintessential English Country Wedding.

We are licensed to hold Marriages and Civil Partnership Ceremonies on these premises. These can be held in the formal walled gardens under the stone pillared Gazebo followed by the signing of the register within the house. Alternatively you may wish to hold the ceremony within the Kentish Oak Framed Barn. You and your guests are invited to explore the grounds of this exclusive venue before entering the Grand Marquee for your wedding breakfast and evening reception where the finishings and accessories are of the finest quality. Our country-style bar and function room conveniently adjoins the marquee offering guests further space and comfort to relax and enjoy this wonderful venue for all its character.

Experience the nostalgia of the many features in abundance here including the Oak Framed Barn (situated adjacent to the marquee making it the ideal backdrop for photographs or any unique ideas you may wish to use it for), quirky features such as the original haywain, gypsy caravan, vintage tractor, various carts, butchers bike, red telephone box and much more!

Finish the evening in style and stay in the luxurious Wedding Suite, complete with hot tub on the terrace. This accommodate can also sleep up to six persons making it the ideal place to stay the night prior your wedding for a pre wedding party. The Bridal Studio is the perfect place for your wedding preparations on the morning of your wedding.
