Three days of riding with Sean In the Peaks. 5 stars for several reasons. Sean is a passionate and dedicated rider that really knows how to shred. He is motivational, inspires confidence and is a good coach. He has a good sense of humor and is easy going. Bit of a legend really. Thanks for showing us what proper natural trails are really about!!! WhenвАЩs the next one lads???

Superb introduction to the Surrey Hills. Sean was a fantastic guide and I'd recommend this ride 100%. It's an action packed 4+ hours covering over 30k of great riding in a beautiful location. One of my best days MTBing so far. A word of advice- The whole time is spent either climbing hard or ripping it downhill on singletrack so you will need a reasonable degree of fitness and some basic/ intermediate MTB skills to fully enjoy the day. Don't wait- sign up now, you won't regret it!

So much fun, really hard day in the saddle, but my permagrin is giving me face cramp, and i seem to have Regressed to an early nineties teenager. CanвАЩt wait to go again.

So it's Wednesday and I'm still buzzing from our long weekend in the peaks with Sean. Seriously had the best mtb experience since i took it up in the 90s. Great bloke. Such good laughs. Amazing mountain biking. If anyone is thinking about booking with marmalade mtb as nike would say "Just Do It"

Sean's passion for natural trails and big skies are only surpassed by his passion for making his guests happy. From great riding down to what you eat - a weekend with Marmalade is all about you. Highly recommended! пњљ

The choice of accommodation was beautiful..... not what I expected from a bunk house thatвАЩs for sure.



My only shortfall was.....I wanted more пњљ cos I loved it so much! And IвАЩm a greedy girl for those fast flowing, undulating tracks. I LOVED IT!!!!!

Just back from the Wales Never Fails ride weekend with Sean and a great group of other mtb riders - weather good all the time. The organisation of the rides, accommodation and food was spot on.



As for the actual rides... well... two trails done at Afan, which are proper Wales trail centre rides, W2 was fairly full-on both up and down and worth the effort. Mid way round food stop was so good and definitely needed.



Then on the Sunday "real" trail riding on The Gap Ride in the Brecon Becons... I've ridden in Wales quite a bit and this was seriously good! The climbs were good as were the views, but the descents were some thing else... especially the final rocky, long, flat out one - tough on bike and rider in equal measure... one of the best I've done.



Marmalade mtb were brilliant - this is my second time with Sean (not the last) and if your not sure - believe me, guided ride are the way forward!!!

More than that, it was just like riding with another member of the mob!



3 truly awesome days in the Peaks that are up there with the best I've had, on and off the bike. Won't hesitate to book with Sean again and already plotting the next adventure!

I have not ridden with Sean but have met him a few times. What a great fella with a positive, supportive attitude. The group he was leading were all in great spirits and enjoyed their day.

Sure you would have a great day out with him.

I had a great few hours in the hills with Marmalade MTB yesterday. Beautiful views and great weather, and a well planned ride that reflected just what I had asked for. Chris was good company and the three hours flew by. Sean had arranged everything at very short notice, and it all fell into place perfectly. I would certainly recommend Marmalade, as well as the idea of getting someone to guide you when you're riding somewhere new. I didn't waste a single minute in dead ends or losing elevation on tarmac like I would have done if I'd been on my own.

I booked Marmalade for my sonвАЩs 7th birthday having been recommended by a friend. Having not done any real mountain biking with my sons I was a bit apprehensive but neednвАЩt have been! After being collected in the bus, we spent the afternoon at Whiteways exploring the trails and taking advantage of SeanвАЩs local knowledge. Sean and Paul were very professional, patient and encouraging and everyone (including me) had an awesome time! Have already been asked by the birthday boy if he can do it again next year but I have a feeling we will be booking another session before then.....

Had a great time on the Surrey Hills Festive Shred (17th Dec). Great guide, great company and excellent trails. Well done Sean on arranging the day and the food in the pub afterwards.

Fab weekend which was just like being out for a ride with mates; but with the security of being with people who know the trails. Trails which were a great mix of open country mtb and sweet old skool singletrack. Super chilled out, fun and supportive. I've come away feeling soooo much more confident in my own ability and wanting get out on the trails more. Huge thanks guys, great collaboration!!

Decided to try out the Surrey hills after seeing the post for a 'trail taster' with guided tour and have to say I'm very impressed! Sean is a super nice guy, very informative, friendly - the weather was amazing today and such a good ride - I'll definitely be back to try the 'single track adventure'
