Melzebra Music Description
Melzebra is a saxophonist, a singer songwriter, bandleader and a teacher.
She has an amazing tone on her saxophone and will blow you away when she plays. She writes great songs and is currently producing a post punk, new wave, electro-indie album. This will be her second album of her songs. Parafernalia - Weekend Anarchist.
She has a gypsy /jazz /ska band called Gypskazz, which she plays Sax and sings and had released two albums with this band. Melzebra also plays in a reggae band called One Jah for over 10 years and has a Jazz trio and plays with DJ's and as a soloist at weddings, events and parties.
She also works as a part time music teacher in a school for young people with autism. This is an challenging and incredibly rewarding job. She is always looking for new ways to make music accessible to all students and to allow music sessions to be engaging and help develop skills.
