We stayed for one night. The staff were lovely, the room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was a buffet and I thoroughly enjoyed my cooked breakfast. Only 1 criticism. The teapots need more than one bag.

This restaurant is the best in the area! Food is amazing! Big portions with really modern and stylish decor.. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Easily a 5* all round! �

Stayed for a night in a standard double room which was very spacious. We were really surprised with how much space there was. Hotel was very clean with friendly staff. Room was equipped with iron, hairdryer and compliantly tea and coffee. Can't fault the hotel at all. Breakfast was buffet which had the full works of a fry up, everything was hot and very nice. A brilliant stay after our trip to Bicester village. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay was xmas groupon gift. Very large room and bed. Clean, fresh and nice furniture. Freezing cold and snowing outside so needed heated air conditioning that was a bit noisy at night. Could have done with magnetic make up mirror. Breakfast was good especially fresh fruit, smoked salmon & scrabbled egg and full English. Staff were friendly and helpful. Conveniently located close to m40 for getting to oxford. Recommended�

Had my wedding and reception at the lambert hotel in July 2017 and had an amazing day, everyone who worked there couldn't do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble, well priced drinks, amazing food! Amazing venue! Amazing staff! Thank you so much!

Booked hotel through Travel Zoo offer for wedding anniversary treat. Were thrilled to be allocated a mini suite. Lovely large bed in very comfortable room. Large modern bathroom and separate sitting room.

4of us stopped off for Lunch .We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who asked if we would prefer Restaurant or bar menu ,we decided on the bar so we could sit and chat with a meal .The staff were really friendly and enjoyed a bit of banter.The food all4of us had was excellent,we were not rushed at any time and made to feel welcome Finally the price was very reasonable 5star recommendation.Thank you

Staff were ok but very slow with getting anything done, but beautiful place to have a wedding and grounds are lovely.

I didn't think I was going to make it to the hotel before the restaurant closed but the concierge read the menu to me over the phone so I could chose and have it delivered to my room so I wouldn't go without dinner that was a lovely touch. I found all the staff to be extremely friendly right down to the housekeeping. The hotel itself is very clean in all areas and very well presented. Ideally situated just off the M40.

Stayed for 2 nights for our visit to Thame Food Festival. Stayed here last year for same event. Last year we had a room at the back of the hotel in the courtyard which I would have reviewed more positively. This year we were in the main hotel and I was disappointed compared to last year due to road noise, cleanliness of shower, provision of hairdryer which had to be the smallest one I had every seen, lack of bottled water. Reception has been done up since take over but Mercure and looks very inviting. Service from bar (Jonny) not particularly pleasant, he appeared to prefer drying his glasses than serving me. Disappointed this time round which is a shame as we were repeat customers.

Our room was a good size for myself, my 10 yr old, my 10 month old and two dogs, so no complaints there...unfortunately, there wasn't any hot water so I had to boil the kettle in order to get a sink full of water to wash the baby. When I rang reception to enquire as to what was happening, I was greeted by a gentleman who'd obviously had his fill of residents enquiringvabout the lack of hot water. He was rather abrupt and came across as quite rude.



My dinner, the Teriyaki beef, was overcooked which made it dry and chewy. My daughter's fish had some rather large bones it - yes, I know fish has bones but generally when you order fish and chips, it has been filleted.



The facilities in the room were adequate; kettle, hairdryer and wifi. We didn't use the tv.



Overall, I probably wouldn't go again unless I absolutely had to. I found it to be a slightly upmarket Premier Inn - only much dearer!
