Went down to mewsbrook park this morning . Pouring down with rain . What a superb breakfast we had at mewsbrook park cafe . Stayed dry in the conservatory . Despite the weather. what great value for money and superb food . I would have to say its great for all the family .

We came here yesterday for the first time.. We only had a coffee and a little wander round, but what a lovely place! Will definitely be returning �

We are regulars at Mewsbrook and love it! From feeding the ducks, enjoying a walk around the water, finding the little nooks of woodland, going to the cafe for yummy hot chocolate, ice cream and generous portions of cakes, playing in the park and on the green, we always have the best time. We have now also sampled the cafes larger meals and they are really good and filling. Waiting for the summer to come so we can enjoy the boats as well but always visit here, whatever the season :-)

Myself and my mum visit every week after taking our dog for a walk. Great having somewhere , where we can sit inside with our dog. Great friendly service .

Lovely place to stop off after the park with the kids for a coffee and an ice cream , staff always friendly and welcoming.

Lovely cafe with freshly prepared food. Dog friendly too so pooches come inside with us. The park has not changed at all since I used to come down here on holiday, nice to see the miniature train is still there some 50 years on.

Just love it here. Perfect for a nice family lunch and you can even bring your pooch. Nice walking around after and feeding the ducks

Just had a lovely afternoon tea. Lovely choice of sandwiches and some yummy cakes � plenty to eat..

A smashing meal with real quality ingredients on a cold wet day goes down amazing when the mood amongst the troops is down, the family loved it, a real cockle warmer, quality food at very reasonable prices

my children were brought up walking round the park and their treat was an ice cream ours was pot of tea, now my grandchildren love it too

With its spectacular overshadow of the lake and stunning gardens surrounding, here is the place for both family and friends to hang out. As for having fond memories when being a kid here, the play park is ideal for small children. For a great day fulfilled with memories, this is the place to be.

Go there a lot as only live a few minutes away. Kids love the ice cream and we enjoy a coffee. Friendly staff.

Enjoyed the food however staff could have been more helpful by bringing over our food as we all had our hands full holding our young babies. Good baby change facilities and relaxed atmosphere though.

Very surprised no soya milk option. Thought this was standard in most cafes now? �

Not far from our home, easy walking distance. Indoors or outside the cafe is great. Get a meal, snack, drink or ice cream. All very good. Finish with a pleasant walk around the lake and enjoy the gardens
