What fabulous food. Fresh and delicious. Early evening meal and despite the table being booked for later we weren't rushed. Can highly recommend the duck and mushroom in red wine tagliatelle.

User

We visited Michelangelo yesterday for the first time and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, and service was excellent. We will definitely be returning.

User

We had not booked as we had stopped off on the way back to the hotel. They found us a table with no fuss and the food and service was superb! We would highly recommend this restaurant and will be going back again.

User

Visited this restaurant for the 1st time after coming to the island for years. How didn't i know about this little gem until now. Beautiful authentic Italian food. Friendly service. Can't wait till our next visit to the island so we can visit again.

User

This is our favourite restaurant on the island. It's like a second home to us and "my Girls" are excellent at making you feel relaxed and comfortable. Their service is what good service is all about. The food is great and we obviously have our favourites but even when we stray to other dishes we are never disappointed. I own a small hotel on the island in Shanklin and am happy to come to Ryde for my night off and I am also more than happy to recommend to my own customers if they decide to eat out. This is my safe "go to" restaurant where you feel part of the furniture, hence the "my girls" comment. Even the late AA Gill recommended them a while ago. Not pretentious, just good solid cooking from the kitchen that delivers every service. Thank you Michelangelo.

User

The food is excellent, the atmosphere great and the staff lovely. Always a pleasure to eat here. Would highly recommend.

User

The food and service is excellent. If you want a quiet relaxed meal, book the old restaurant. We were in the other which is more of a cafe experience. Although we were booked for 7.30pm, there was a 10/11 year old on the next table watching something very loud on her iPhone! Not what we wanted or expected.

User

Started with very hot homemade cream of tomato soup which had some fresh veg in it. Ciabatta and butter. Delish.

Mains of salmon in a creamy prawn and garlic sauce with sautéed potatoes. Yum, yummy.

Suite of fresh fruit tart made with shortcrust pastry and a light eggy/lemon base.

Mouth watering...

User

Lovely little restaurant with an excellent staff that were helpful and accommodating when we celebrated our dear Dianne's hen do. The food is delicious and the ambiance warm.

User

Had an lovely meal at Michaelangelo's last night. It's the first time we have been there, after it was recommended by a friend.

The service was excellent. Our first and main courses were delicious and the desserts (the Baci di dama and the Torta Al Cioccolato) were to die for.

We will definitely go there again and will be happy to recommend it to others.

😄

A wonderful place; a hidden gem in Ryde. Authentic, beautiful, Italian food, served with love and pride. The wine was great too! Whenever we visit Ryde from the mainland, this is our lunchtime destination. Recommended.

Lovely rustic Italian food with sea views - quite noisy when full - but great service, food and value.
