Open as usual!!!!! - Movie Stunt Filming!
Portsdown Hill Road is scheduled to be closed between 1000 and 1500 today between the Churchillian pub and the roundabout for a stunt scene on the road for a movie!
We will remain open throughout this time and will be accessible via London Road past the George pub.
... So come up and grab your lunch and see what celebs or cars you can see!

Here is the footage from inside the trailer of the crash last Friday. No one was seriously injured in the accident! We are back open now thanks to the quick response from Bill at Andy gas!

Went here yesterday for our 1st ever visit. Lovely friendly staff, and very welcoming, food was fantastic and went down a treat, with a lovely view aswell.. Wat more cud u want
These burgers are amazing and you have a beautiful view to enjoy too ☺
Omg my son took me to micks monster burgers and omg I have never seen burgers so big excellent value and excellent tasting burger would highly recommend micks to anyone that’s wants a great burger
My kids are quite fussy about food - but they both gobbled up hot dogs without even a word! Big tasty burger for good money as well. The queue was big, but service was extremely fast. I'll definitely recommend it to visit.
I've been going to Mick's since I was 3 years old (I'm now early 30's) It's a great location and a great burger.
I have been popping up here since the early 90’s it was great food then and still is now we live in east horsley near Guildford and we still come up here for a drive and great food
I first went to Mick's wanting a giant burger van burger, and that's what I got. Is the quality brilliant? No, it's a burger van. I don't go to a burger van for top quality ingredients. I go to a burger van for a fix. Mick's offers the biggest fix in the region.
I almost feel like better quality ingredients would detract from the experience. There are restaurants for artisanal burgers. Mick's is comfort food. A lot of comfort food for surprisingly little money.
Heard about this place so took a bimble down on a relatives vintage motorcycle whilst he and my wife followed in the car.
What can I say. Best burger we’ve all had for a long time. Fabulous + the vista is first class.
Will be back and soon.
Have not had a burger in years from Micks, but whilst out on the bike we stopped off.
Enjoyed every mouthful.
Yes views are great, would have stayed longer, but needed the Loo.
Plus kitted out in motorcycle gear on a very hot day..!
Had to drop a friend off a Southampton Airport on Sunday,So had to make a Small Detour for a Bacon Burger and a Tea.Excellent food and very fast service.
Had a monster egg bacon and chesse burger 10 out of 10 �
Got the monster bacon burger and cheesy chips. quality, service was greats. Thanks Mick’s. �
Brilliant food served 24/7 plus s stunning view, even if its only a view over Portsmouth

Never fails to dissapoint always good food ..regardless the length of the queue..but it's worth the wait...Thanks guys
As every time I go there food was great as was the staff ..not sort on entertainment and the view was great ..even in the fog
Nice burger, for the price, excellent value. I'm a bit fussy so would have liked an option of having a better quality Beef Burger to choose from. Rolls were really lovely and fresh, and toppings very good too. Chips were delicious and it was cooked fresh and served up very speedy. Wow and what an amazing view of Portsmouth, even on a dark rainy evening. Probably the best views ever.
I love this place we come every year it's jus a shame I'm from Ireland 😭😍
Went to this place to grab a hot chocolate and the staff racially discriminated me. I've never met them before and they were talking about having a curry. Then these people had the audacity to ask me if my dad was the one that cooked the curry and I was here to get a review on the curry itself.
Gobsmacked and this is absolutely f**king disrespectful to be assuming that due to my skin colour, I automatically work in a curry house. I have no knowledge or have I ever confronted these people yet they embarrassed me to such an extent that onlookers laughed with them and made me feel like I was the odd one out. Is that what things have come to now? You see an ethnic minority and then all gang up on him and have onlookers join you in laughter whilst displaying childish behaviour and racially profiling.
I didn't deserve this at a place where lt is well know to people in the surrounding area and visitors who are passing.
This to me really felt like a hate crime.
