We'd like to wish our very lucky black cat Wibble a Happy 10th Birthday. When she was first brought into us as a kitten all those years ago we weren't sure she'd survive the first night but here she is 10 years later still as naughty as ever!

We have had a young 4-5 month old tabby and white DSH brought in, who was found on Stantonbury. They are not wearing a collar and no microchip found.

Very pleased with the service and care provided by Dexter and all the staff. We had to bring our cat Guinness in as an emergency and since then had two follow up appointments. We even had to cancel one at short notice, as we couldn't get him in the basket. All information and treatment, was fully detailed and clear. Very grateful and fully recommend this vets.

Thus far, we've only been using MSVG for a little while, but the staff are very professional and friendly and clearly know their stuff! Dexter (the vet) helped our scared little pup Rosie to relax for her first shots, and the lady who answered the phone (Sarah) was very helpful and helped me to pick the best health plan (the extended Watch Me Grow puppy plan) to help her through her first year. :)

This is a fabulous vets. I wouldn't trust my cats with anyone else.

The whole experience from booking my cat in for surgery and collecting him after went very well. The procedure and aftercare was explained in full and more importantly the operation to remove a couple of teeth and a clean the rest was a complete success. Thank you to Dexter and his team :)

Thank you to the staff for getting my beautiful big rottie Arthur seen to at such short notice and to Dexter for being so kind he handled Arthur great even though he was in a lot of pain just superb service!!! Thank you all again as he is my baby

My parents started using Dexter's vet services ca 1987 and thus the tradition continues with my cat. Great to see a much-valued service expanding within MK; staff always cheerful, helpful and empathetic to the situation. I wouldn't take my cat anywhere else!

My cat flurr had a urinary infection.She got the best treatment and awesome staff.Thank you dexter n girls

Just wanted to thank Dexter and the team for a successful operation on our cat Minnie. I was really worried and had lots of questions about the procedure and possible alternatives and they made time for someone to talk me through it and answer all my questions. They let us go and see her in the evening before her overnight stay so we could say goodnight and let her know we hadn't abandoned her which is important as she was originally a stray. Cannot recommend this practice enough.

I've been registered with midsummer for a while now and I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. Dexter is brilliant and the staff are all so caring and wonderful, they genuinely care about your animals and treat them like their own. They are always on hand to give expert advice in between visits and I trust them implicitly with the well being of my dog's. They always get us seen within 1-2 days even for non-emergencies (and odd emergencies I've been seen on the same day) and when treatment or tests are required it's always been within a couple of days. I'm very forgetful and they send me texts to remind me of treatment and appointments and spent ages helping me to fill out the insurance claims forms. I cannot recommend them enough. This is not a big faceless company where your pet is just another percentage, these are people that really love what they do, and genuinely care while remaining professional at all times. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and great care!

I think that we’ve been using this practise for around 24 years. I think that says it all. When you’re happy with the service, no matter what the circumstances, you stay loyal. Thank you, team! You’re the best!

I cannot rate midsummer highly enough. You will always get a caring and honest service from them. I always recommend them to anyone I know who is looking for somewhere to take their animals.



We want to thank them particularly on behalf of our Zapp. When other vets we took him to dismissed that he was ill (when we knew he was from his change in character). Dexter diagnosed him quickly on his first visit. Then together with all the staff they treated him every two weeks for two years with such care and compassion we just can't thank them enough. We owe the last two years with him to them <3

Can not fault this vets, sadly on 20th of March this year, I had make sad choice to say goodbye to my dog of 17years, I was mess and so all over place, but nurse stayed by my side and spoke to me, was so lovely to my dogs in his last moments even though they knew he could be naughty with strangers they still loved him and even cuddled him to, even after he had closed his eyes they allowed me to stay with him for as long as I wanted after, and gave me tissues and explained to me how I had done right thing and told me how they could see he was very loved, I’m so thankful my Woody got to spend his last moments in such a lovely place and with people who actually adore and understand animals,even when returning his ashes you were all so lovely to me, and careful with everything, so I just thank you so much for being such good people in such difficult times �
