Mignonette's supplied my wedding dress as well as my three bridemaids dresses for my wedding this October. I am very grateful to them as they made me try on a style of dress I had dismissed from the very beginning. A style which turned out to be my dream wedding dress, so they definitely know what they're talking about! Jane, the owner, and all the assistants I dealt with were absolutely lovely throughout the whole process. Jane is incredibly passionate about her job and you feel as though she is genuinely invested in you. Jane worked incredible hard on my very complicated dress alterations as well as my tricky bridesmaid alterations. We did not make life easy for her as I had one pregnant bridesmaid gaining weight and one losing weight but she took it all in her stride! All the dresses on the day were absolutely beautiful. I felt the most beautiful I ever have in my life. I cannot thank you enough and would highly recommend Mignonette's for future weddings.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mignonette to any bride. Whilst I didn’t end up making my final purchase with them this was only because they did not stock the designer I ended up choosing. My fitter Natasha was friendly, helpful and made me fell at ease from the moment I stepped into the store. I did not feel rushed at any point or pressured to make a purchase.

I visited jane yesterday with my bridesmaids for their fittings. I happened to mention that my bridal gown (purchased and altered elsewhere) was very tight and a struggle to fasten. This concerned Jane and she told me to go and get the dress so she could take a look!!

On further inspection, jane was obviously disgusted that I had been allowed to take the gown away as it was and pointed out fault after fault!! Things I hadn't noticed until her trained eye pointed them out to me.

I was devastated and in tears. My wedding is a week away and my dress all wrong. I had to stand there in the dress and watch her cut it up, which was obviously upsetting.

She gave me pretty much her whole day and on my final fitting, even though the gown was all pinned and still needed finishing, it looked like a different dress, it looked amazing, even better than I ever could have imagined.

I know my dress will be perfect when I collect it from Jayne next week. I could never thank her enough for what she's done for me.

My advice to anyone would be, only purchase your gown from here and if you ever need alterations, jane must be the only person you go to!!

She is obviously very experienced and outstanding at what she does. Any advice or recommendations she gives...take them, she'll be right!

I loved my wedding dress and was so pleased that Mignonette stocked bridesmaid dresses in the colour and style I had been looking for. Jane was very helpful offering to get cravats made in the same colour as the bridesmaid dresses. When my Mum and I came to collect the dresses, Jane and her colleague brought them out to our car, which was fantastic service.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Mignonette Bridal to any bride searching for their dream dress. My initial appointment was around 3hrs, in which I tried somewhere between 25-30 dresses! Jane is fab and very honest, which I believe is what every bride needs in a bridal boutique! I'm not a fall in love with your wedding dress girl so although I like my dress when I chose it the real reason I chose the dress was because how amazing all the staff were here, especially Jane the owner. Going shopping for a wedding dress after giving birth two years in a row wasn’t something I was overly excited about. I had gone to a couple of beautiful shops, and tried on some awful dresses which just made me feel worse.



Going to Mignonette was something I was super excited about as I had some friends who had bought dresses here and I knew Jane was very passionate and also very honest and would only let me try on styles that would make me look good.



I had seen a dress two years previous in Mignonette when heavily pregnant and always thought that was the dress for me, but was unsure if it was still in stock.



When we got their I explained to Jane vision and she pulled the most beautiful dresses. She put me in a fabulous corset and I have to say everything looked so much better than I thought it would. But I had to explore “that dress” I had seen previously.



I didn’t know the name of the dress and could only explain what it looked like, suddenly the penny dropped and off Jane went upstairs and returned with my dream dress. A gold Art Couture and I was instantly in love.



I explained to Jane I wanted to feel like Scarlet O’Hara from Gone with the Wind and she listened.



For the year to follow (and months afterwards) Jane was incredible. We thought carefully about my bridesmaid dresses, shape of my 6 girls and time of year and she came up with the most stunning dress which suited everyone.



I had bridesmaids around the UK and in Ireland and the team were so good fitting everyone in and even carrying out express day fittings for my girls flying over from Ireland. Nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond in every way.



Jane is so passionate and really lives your day with you. She provided everything from flower girl to tiara and I was so impressed with her vision and patience (especially when she cut by hand a 100 layers from my dress in my 2 hour fitting ��)



From buying my dress to cleaning my dress and not only finding a box big enough to store my dress, but wrapping said box in pretty wallpaper so it looked as stunning as my dress, I will be forever grateful for all those wonderful memories visiting your beautiful bridal store.

Every Bride should be made to feel how I did upon my visits to Mignonette. I visited in November 2015 for our Wedding in 2017, I wasn't quite expecting to have placed my order there and then! As soon as I arrived I was made to feel completely welcome, the staff were incredibly helpful and I actually ended up ordering the first dress I tried on (one of their suggestions). The ordering process was hassle free and the customer service was excellent from beginning right through to the end.

A few months after placing the order for my Bridal dress, I returned on the hunt for my bridesmaids dresses. After discussing with Jane that both bridesmaids would have recently given birth at the time of the Wedding, she suggested a style of dress immediately that would give them a flattering shape and make them feel comfortable. One of my bridesmaids needed to be fully covered due to religious reasons and Jane came up with a solution straight away. My bridesmaid ended up having a beautiful lace scarf made and a jacket to go over the dress.

The alterations process was hassle free and they were complete perfectionists when it came to checking everything over - everything down to the miniscule details.

Buying a wedding dress is a daunting experience for someone living in jeans and tshirts! I went to a few shops, tried on many dresses and didn't feel it. This was my 4th stop and I wish I'd come here first. Jane picked me out the most amazing dress which suits me and my taste. I've been for my fittings and am now waiting on the big day. They couldn't do enough for me.

I came here to try and find my perfect wedding dress and left feeling like a piece of rubbish on the bottom of their shoe. I was told I needed an appointment, fine. Then I was almost laughed at for not having an idea of the sort of dress I wanted ( I thought that was why you look in a shop?). The assistant/owner told me I should really have brought my mother! Really? I don't even have a mother so found this extremely insensitive. In hindsight I think maybe she thought I was a teenager having some kind of laugh because although at the time I was 26 I do look very young for my age. She even made a racist remark about travellers when I pointed out a bridesmaid dress similar to one my workmate had worn at a wedding. She literally laughed me out of her shop.



They lost out on a near £3000 that I ended up spending elsewhere. Awful people who clearly judged me on my appearance (sportswear and a cap). I'm not sure if she was the owner or just an assistant (she was South African) but she made me feel awful. I hope you read this and treat everybody that enters your shop as a potential client who should be treated with respect. I'm so glad I found a lovely shop with amazing people that made me day very special.

Extremely disappointed in this shop! my daughter was asked what style dresses she liked the two ladies kept bringing out the complete opposite of what we had asked for. We were not allowed to choose any dresses and were told we choose for you. Each time they gave my daughter a dress to put on we told them she doesn't like that style but that is all they continued to give her. My daughter was made to feel very uncomfortable. They asked her what the budget was and that was all they kept referring to the whole time. The two ladies were both very rude and were rolling their eyes to each other when we said we didn't like something. Worst customer service ever, staff were patronising and condescending. Do not waste your time going to this awful shop!!
