Where to start after such a brilliant ‘thank you’ party to all our customers, who have made our 6 years at Miles Bar such a memorable and enjoyable part of our lives It was truly lovely to see so many of you yesterday both day and night, ensuring the party was such a success, a massive thank you A special thank you to Micky B 🎧🎧 for being such a support to Sally and myself when we first met with the idea of putting on some Soul nights. The wonderful and generous DJs that he ...introduced us to and who came yesterday and played us out, many many thanks There were too many DJs to include and my apologies to Nigel Watson and Teresa Barrett, I hope you understand but still a pleasure that you came and partied. And a special mention to Kevin Webb, for his invaluable knowledge and assistance with all things technical since we’ve been at the bar, be it setting up the music system from scratch to sorting out WiFi for the bar, invaluable expertise, thanks 🙏 We are not leaving just yet, so if you are passing and want to say hi , please feel free In the meantime best wishes and thank you once again for all your support friendship and custom Mick and Sally

What can I say great food, great service, wonderful & friendly staff if you are down in Ramsgate pop in to Miles Bar super fresh Sea Bass, & amazing Lobster, with a great location overlooking Ramsgate marina

A great place to chill & watch the world go by

User

We visited Tuesday afternoon. As many have said, the friendliness of the staff was very impressive and the Latte's were quite honestly, the best we've ever tasted. Can wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Miles Bar when you're next in Ramsgate. We'll definitely be going back !.

User

We visited Miles on Sunday morning for a breakfast for 8 of us. The staff were very helpful in squeezing us in before the breakfast time ended. We all had the cooked breakfast and the food was excellent - there was nobody in the group that didn't like what they got. The bacon in particular was excellent. On top of a great breakfast, we also had excellent service, considering the restaurant was really busy. So thank you to the server who let us come in late and who did a great job, we really appreciated it.

It was so good, that some of us went back the next day and had exactly the same again.

I would highly recommend this restaurant and the views are an extra bonus.

User

The brekkies are fantastic, coffee is great and it's a very relaxed atmosphere, staff are on it service wise, the view of the harbour while eating and drinking makes you feel like your living the Parisian life style, if your visiting the area pop in

User

Not one of our usual eateries, although we regularly pop in for a Cafe Latte when in town. Food was excellent, well cooked and the presentation was superb. The burger that my son and one of our granddaughters had was rated as 5*. The only down point was that they'd run out of Doom Bar, so I had to settle for a Whitstable Bay, which is a passable ale!

User

Love this place, great spot overlooking the harbour, fantastic food and great service. Really good choice of menu with fresh seafood supplied. Great presentation on the dishes. We visit every time we are in Ramsgate and we have a good 4 hour drive to get there. Looking forward to our next visit next weekend :-)

User

Hot chocolate and chocolate brownies to die for. I've visited miles bar for years. I've always found staff friendly and helpful. And food I have always found to be nice and hot, and on the table within 10 minutes of ordering.

User

Had breakfast here on Saturday morning, it was very good and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. Went back bank holiday Monday for lunch, would definitely recommend the posh fish finger sandwich!

User

Great service especially from your waitress Poppy, loved it here!

User

Great coffee ÔøΩ and delicious toasted bacon sandwich - popped in when we had 30mins to wait for a bus to Canterbury - managed to eat sandwich and drink coffee in 25mins

User

Best Bacon Sandwich in Kent. Great food, Great People and Great Atmosphere

User

Aaaah miles bar. The place I met the love of my life. Perfect setting. Lovely food. Great service. Amazing views. Heaven on Earth .

User

The coffee was nice but it took SO LONG to come. My latte was just warm and it wasn't particularly busy. This is about the 4 th or 5 th time we have called in for coffee and a snack and while the staff are very pleasant I have never known it take so long to make a cup of coffee

User

Only went for drinks, whilst the staff were friendly and the service good sadly the drinks I was disappointed with. In somewhere like miles I expected a bit better, I had a large tea which came in a mug with the bag left in. I thought that should have been in a pot, leaving the bag in screams greasy spoon cafe. Husband had a strawberry and cream shake which he said tasted ok but for £3.50 it was quite small and the cream on top was quite runny which spoilt the overall effect of how it looked when it came out.

Hadn't eaten all day so we're starving and noticed skate wings being eaten outside which looked good so decided to eat with you. We went inside and asked if we would be seated or could just sit anywhere and we're told we could sit. We waited a while before I saw menus on another table so I went and took them. We made our decisions and waited and waited we had seen other people getting table service so assumed someone would be over but nobody came eventually I decided to go and order the food myself. We ordered 2 milkshakes made with ice cream. A cheesey garlic bread as a starter and then the Angus burger and fish cakes. As I was at the bar ordering I inquired about the skate wings and was told there was a specials menu we were unaware of. Had I been aware of this I would of had the skate it as I was already ordering I decided I'd just keep to the decision I had already made rather than made. The garlic bread took a while but came out super hot and was delicious however before I had finished the first piece the mains came out I stuttered a bit but before I could querie it she had gone so now we had everything starters and main all at once. The food I have to say was quite incredible the homemade fishcakes were delicious and even the chips were more than just chips. I would like to confirm how the milkshakes were made as i don't belive ice cream was used at all as they were thin. And mention that we did not get given the specials or even get proper table service. It was such a shame as the food was all perfect.

User

Went Saturday lunch for a drink. Four people behind the counter and only one if them working. Other three stood around talking. To buy a Fanta and a Peroni should take about a minute, but it took five. (serving drinks quickly is how customers drink quickly and come back to the bar for another. We stayed for the one drink and left. Won't be back soon. Note to young staff: work hard. You get recognition and your day goes quicker.)

User

Went there on Wednesday evening around 7:30pm.. place was pretty dead, yet we waited almost 20 mins for a tea and a mocha, mainly due to the staff member behind the bar chatting to the staff member that was sat at the bar eating.. they had no clue about the food on their own menu and everywhere we looked were tables with previous customers dirty glasses and plates etc just left there. No hello when we arrived and no goodbye when we left, very poor service all round.

User

Went there for lunch, waited for nearly an hour for food, no one came to apologise or to say where our meals were. Had to ask what was happening. When it did arrive, one meal was wrong, waited an extra 15 minutes for it and still didn't arrive. Ended up asking for my money back (had time restriction due to car park). Waitress did apologise saying they were short staffed and new staff in the kitchen.

User

Went here last Friday night for a meal and am sad to say was very disappointed ÔøΩ mostly because the staff (I think it was the owner!) was very rude and was not at all interested in talking to his customers - at one point he even told me to hurry up for daring to take a few seconds to think about an order (it was seconds!) because had other customers to serve

Usually I would have given a piece of my mind and left and spent my very hard earned money elsewhere but this was a rare evening out for my partner and I and I didn’t want it spoilt by causing a scene - I didn’t get the feeling he would be understanding at all!

Food was also mediocre at best - my steak was over cooked and like a slice of paper and the salad was wilted (my pet hate!)

VERY annoyed however as we spent over £100 for dinner and drinks and overall very dissatisfied with the experience - really don’t expect owners of businesses to be such a-holes, obviously he feels he doesn’t the need the money! Well don’t worry I won’t be spending mine here again

Not at all surprised to see it much quieter than it used to be
