thank you for a fantastic holiday. The hospitality was extremely welcoming, and Juna our waitress at dinner was exceptional. I want to personally say she made our dinner experience nice and stress free even with our messy, nightmare 1 year-old. Also the entertainment team were all fabulous and we look forward to another holiday with you in the future. :)

User

We love Milly the entertainment team the staff and the food are all brilliant. The only complaint is there is no disabled accommodation and the only disabled toilet is far to small try getting a wheelchair and a carer in there got to move everything out and its still to small and hot and smelly. Also you have spent all this money and missed a couple of bits out hand rail in the shower to help get in and out. toilet roll holder on the wall and a towel holder by the sink. Its such a shame this let's it down but we put up with it because we love the place

User

Very welcoming all the staff are amazing food great too recommend the TriBeCa’s well worth it xx

User

So I just realised my fave place had a Facebook page! Me and my nan have been coming here for most of my life I’m sure, even now I still get excited when we come up in the half term holidays! I got home today after being here for halloween so thought I’d leave a review. Well where do I start? Couldn’t rate this fabulous place highly enough! Food is fantastic, such a choice! There’s something for everyone! Staff are lovely, restaurant staff and entertainments team couldn’t be more polite, cheerful and helpful. Nothing is ever too much for them. I love watching the entertainments team performances, I watched the magic of musicals this half term and thoroughly enjoyed it! Always look forward to breakfasts and dinners too. Cater really well for children, so much for them to do and they put on lots of activities for the adults too. I just love this place so much! I mean you must be doing something right for us to keep coming back! Just want to say the biggest thank you to everyone at Mill Rythe for making each and every holiday break incredible and memorable. Hate leaving here, not going to lie I get sad, even at my age. Would recommend to absolutely everyone to pay this place a visit! Thanks again and see you soon! Lots of love

User

Loved it, I found all staff very friendly and helpful, tired in some areas, but I'm sticking with them. Investment is on going and I' m enjoying the journey.

Loved the entertainment, something for everyone.

We had an evening in the boathouse, good entertainment and dancing afterwards.

Live bands were great on the whole. Entertainments team all had fabulous voices.

I met Iots of people who enjoyed themselves and would return. Not everyone's cup of tea but for me and my friends, pass the teapot we will have another.

Thanks Milly for another great weekend

User

User

Just home from mish mash week with group of friends wasn't sure what to expect !but had a great time ,me being coeliac needing a gluten free diet was a bit unsure of meals there being such a big place and catering for so many but the food was very very good lots of choices gluten free options often same as on menu GF bread and toast thank you chefs kitchen staff and waiters will visit again

User

I’m sitting here in the ballroom, just watched an afternoon concert with Little Chix, who were brilliant. Kids loved it, and it was lovely to see one of Little Chix dancing with a guest with special needs, it must have made his holiday, it bought tears to my eyes. Well Done Little Chix, and Mill Rythe for booking them.

User

I was recommended Mill Rythe by a friend who regularly visits with his family .

Accommodation- we stayed in the ambassador suite .Basic , comfy beds and done the job. To be honest, with the cost I knew it wouldn't be 5 star but we didn't spend much time in There so wasn't a problem .

Food -amazing ! Such a variety and you have the same table every day so there's not a rush to find a table. The restaurant staff were very helpful .

Entertainment - we were blown away by the entertainment on our last night , the music , costumes were all amazing ! Every night was great !

The kids activities are really good and James was really professional and friendly.

Wasps- yes there were lots but the staff done all they could to keep them away. I would suggest not taking food /sweet stuff to the pool area !

We will definately be back soon. Thanks Mill Rythe for a great holiday x

User

I absolutely adore this place. I can't rate it high enough. Thankyou Mill Rythe, you made my holiday very special. I will come back at every given opportunity. The entertainment team put their heart and soul into every performance. Great fishing, great staff and great food and facilities.

User

Absolutely outstanding value for money, fantastic entertainment and top quality food. Soooooooo cannot wait for tomorrow to come so I can start my 11 day break with the wonderful people of Mill Rythe. The 7pm til midnight free bar on my 1st 8 nights and 1/2 price bar on the last 3 is definitely a birthday bonus for me too, lol. xx.

User

Hi came here about 3 weeks ago, a midweek mish mash, the food was good and the entertainment was good and people were really friendly, only problem there was a interconnecting door that really needed soundproofing as we could hear everything from next door ( 2 ladies) who got up about 6, 15 in the morning could hear and feel the vibration from their alarm, then the hairdryer went on, we actually felt like we were sharing our room with total strangers, we got chatting to a couple who stay with you a lot and said most rooms were like it, which is a shame as we enjoyed it apart from that,

User

Used to come here as a child in the 1980's on family holidays when the camp was owned by Warners. I was here again last week and its barely changed since i was last here. In fact it was in much better condition 30 plus years ago. Im afraid it now looks very run down and uncared for. The old building at the fnt now called the Boat House is derilict and unused. When last here it was a thriving bar/restaurant. Just looks an eyesore now. The snooker room is unchanged, but now 3 out of the 4 tables are unuseable. 2 are worn out and the 3rd has a bucket on it to catch water from a leak in the roof ! Very poor to say the least. Makes me sad to see it like this as it used to be such a lovely well kept place. Not a good impression to create for paying holiday makers, it just implies to me that Away Resorts do not care about the place.

User

It’s a nice little place entertainment are good but the barrel of laughs wasn’t as good this time I don’t class some of them a comedian a comedian with the singing is not what I like to see but that’s me but apart from that the food was good and the stuff was very lovely towards you. In my eyes there are little things they need to do better but would like to go back again it has not put me off as accommodation was good and a good size and clean x

User

We had our first holiday at Mill Rhythe 4 years ago and were so impressed we have been coming back ever since we had 8 holidays there for 2017 and each visit has been first class exceptional choice of food and first class entertainment I can recommend to anyone polite and welcoming staff keep up the good work see you in January 2018.

User

Lovely staff. Accommodation grim, mould in room, ants and just really in need of attention. Breakfast was fine, but the dinner was unpleasant. Not enough staff on activities and so LONG waits for climbing, abseiling and water zorbing. Even with the low price, not sure we would go again. Shame as it's got a lovely cosy and nostalgic feel about the place.

User

Came here for comedy weekend for the 2nd year and was very disappointed with the new set up this year didn't think the acts were as good as the 1st year either!

I had recommended friends to come this year too (don't think I will be coming back next year unless the whole set up of acts and venue improves

User

Went to the Primo weekend and what a disappointment. Granted it was a competition win, so I shouldn't really complain but I'd hate for anyone to spend their money going to this hole

Arrived to a holiday park that had apparently had a refurbishment, it looked like it had not had any improvements done since the 80s. Shower leaked, hung a towel on bathroom hook and it fell off. Cafetière in room didn't work and sprayed all over the sideboard (sorry the white towel cleared up the mess!)

Housekeeper knocked whilst we were getting ready Saturday morning, explained politely i had just got out of the shower to which she said she'd be back later. Never returned so no tea/coffee replenishments were made

Went for a walk around to see what the site as a whole had to offer, a big fat nothing is what we found. In fact no, we found a bit of a golf area, last used during the blitz at a guess, two manky looking pools I wouldn't let my dog swim in and a climbing wall with a 6ft metal fence round it.

We went for our evening meal to be greated by a waiter who's whole vocabulary consisted only of "Can I get you something". Anything else, he just couldn't understand. He was like Manuels long lost grandson

Entertainment was ok (at a push). The ukes of hazard were utterly soul destroying. Was supposed to be West end show weekend and all it was was a few songs from the shows (please note we did leave completely throughout the first show Pricilla on Saturday evening, so unable to comment on the Sunday evening show) We obviously didn't stay around for the "blackout disco"

Daytime entertainment... tie dying? Lawn bowling? Come on? Was surprised there was no crochet class or line dancing! You even had mobility scooter racing??? WTF?!!!!

Not everyone who attended was in their golden years, was aimed very much at the retired people in life!

Friday to Monday break, we arrived at 4pm on Friday and we was making our excuses to leave and was on our way home by 9.45pm Saturday evening

This place needs knocking down and rebuilding. After visiting Tattersall last year we travelled down super excited to visit. Was more like visiting Maplins, you were just missing your Ted Bovis!

Save your money and give this place a wide berth!

User

Well what can I say I have only been here 3 hours paid for an upgrade which was meant to be for 5 people which only had 3 beds in, for the manager to tell me that there was a private function on the weekend and for nothing to be in the room waiting for us. Was told if I wanted to leave I would get a full refund but driving 3 hours with 4 young children 1 having austim this was not a solution has he was expecting to have a holiday!

User
