Well done to everyone today excellent performance Additional thanks to the parents and siblings who were particularly well behavedπŸ˜‰πŸ˜ and to Kate our competition coordinator, Ollie for Captain duties and to those who supplied tea coffee and biscuits, trust they were appreciated. Of course thanks to Joe & Toyakwai for the invite and the hardworking officials including our own Phil.
The Association was split in 4 today,... Cant speak for the others as i dont know the results but we played our role.
We took 10 students with some of the development squad making an appearance, Filling in for missing members. Our results were:-

Bury yesterday, We took a Small team of 6 who competed For Mo-ichido and came away with
Kata Gold ... Kaelan, Nicole, Harry,

We also had 11 Association squad members with us who came away with

KUMITE Kaelan team Silver (fought as the reserve for the EKK age group above team due to an Injury).

Well done guys you did us all proud.
EKK team members of the club gained KUMITE Gracie N own category Gold Open Gold William L Team Silver (retired injured).
Others attended but were not successful in medalling this time around but there were some impressive performances in what was a hotly contested, hard fought, great standard of competition.
Thanks to all parents & students for your support and hard work And of course the Coffee. Special thanks to Kate who did an awesome job Getting the kids to the right mats on time and making sure i was up to speed with everything.
For my first real experience as a coach Cant say i wasnt nervous but i couldn’t have asked for a better result. Although it did feel a bit weird to say the least.... Thanks to Enzo for mentoring me, coaching and of course the company.
Time now to reflect on how to move forward, back in the Dojo next week and lets get ready to go again. (Mo-ichido).

Just been contacted by Ashtead Cricket club. Due to a Diary mix up The Cricket club is Double booked today from 3.30 til 5 pm. I will get there for anyone who turns up but am proposing to amalgamate both classes and run from 5-6 kids adults 6-7. Sorry for short notice. C

Well done to all the competitors parents and Coordinator Kate for a very successful competition. Not to shabby a performance by the 4 Squad members, 10 categories entered 9 medals won,
... all squad members placed in all but the team Kata in a 15 and under Category against 11 teams where they drew for final place to ho through to next round but Dipped out on countback by 0.1.
Great team work and camaraderie from the whole squad and supporting parents.
Thanks go to Kanzen and Roy for a well run, good standard competition, and additional Thanks To Michael from KSE for Volunteering to Coach Christan for me in the Kumite whilst i was Refereeing. Great Job cheers fella.
Well done for the Effort you all put in, now go enjoy the rest of your time in Dundee.
Nicole achieved 1x Gold in her own kata category and Silver in the category above. Nika 1 x Bronze in her own kata category. Christan 1x Silver in his own Kata category, 1x Bronze in the one above. Plus Silver and Bronze in Kumite. Harry 1x Gold in his own kata category, 1x Bronze in the one above.
In total : 2 x Gold 3 x Silver 4 x Bronze, In a hotly contested, enjoyable competition, an experience worth repeating. Cheers C
