Lovely little place with polite and prompt service. Serves a great game pie and tea refills no problem. Looking forward to a theme night on Saturday.
Lovely little farm shop and tea room, the food was all cooked fresh and my daughters even commented how lovely it was to have a local business selling lovely food ๐
Love the farm shop, very welcoming and friendly, really is great to feel that a local business is being supported, have bought flowers, furniture, pressies, cakes, pet food, pies, all great quality, hoping my first real Xmas tree will be as good this Saturday, well done for such a great little placed

Cliffe Woods is so lucky to have this wonderful farm shop/tea room in their village. The food in the tea shop is delicious as are the pies in the shop; lots of other tasty morsels in the shop too.
Called in with my wife at the weekend. So much nicer there now and my wife is so happy the lovely handmade cards are back. That will hit my pocket as she said she was going to check the birthday book and be back as they are really well made, large and not something you can buy in the shops. The bread is lovelyy and the coffee good. Give it a try we will be back
Me and husband went to the farm and we had a great breakfast staff ever so friendly we both enjoy it that the next day we went back for a coffee and a piece of cake xx
As it was only lunch time I had a piece of lemon drizzle cake and a coffee. Both were very nice. We have been several times before and it seems to get better each time, It is definitely becoming more popular. (If the weather is good there are chairs and tables outside).
Such a shame!!
I have been before with my mum (& liked it) so thought it would be the perfect setting for afternoon tea with my grandparents, but it was nowhere near as good, unfortunately.
We ordered afternoon tea for 2 (for myself & grandmother). It took forever for it to arrive to the table (considering all but one of the customers/tables around us had already been served). When it did arrive, 25mins later, the bread on every sandwich was hard/stale. When we mentioned it to the lady, who'd spent ages making it, she reacted quite abruptly saying "well I didn't make the bread, it gets made Saturday". For a moment my grandmother & I didn't know how to react to this comment, and felt very awkward having to say to the lady that we couldnt eat the bread because it was hard. My grandmother held a sandwich up & offered for her to touch the bread, but the lady refused. After a little discussion I asked if she could possibly cut another loaf to make fresh sandwiches she quite sarcastically said "but it's Sunday" suggesting that she didn't want to as it was the end of the week, I felt like a total inconvenience. Eventually she agreed and our afternoon tea was much better, with soft bread, and I have to say the scones, cream, jam & carrot cake were lovely.
When paying the bill the lady took a few pounds off, but I truly would have been more than happy to pay full price, it was never about the money!!
I just wanted a nice afternoon tea experience for my grandparents. And once the bread was swapped, it was nice.
Such a let down, after my last visit!
I'm not sure we'll be rushing back any time soon.
