Went to brighton for sisters hen weekend this month an came across this bar amazing went both nights we was their fab night a must go visit if your out in brighton �����

Was here on St Patrick's for my birthday. Door staff and bar staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I had won the competition for a £100 bar tab which was amazing, the lovely lady behind the bar who was looking after us came straight over said happy birthday and gave me a hug ( soo sweet) and she then made sure we were looked after all night. The bar was extremely busy and it might have been a little nicer if the capacity was reduced slightly as there was no room to dance or move but all in all the atmosphere was fun and lively. Not sure where the bad reviews come from as the staff have always been friendly in what I know is a very busy job!!

Was here last night and what great fun we had. The music was amazing it’s open till 4am and the staff were so nice even the bouncers were so lovely.

Secret cocktail bar down stairs they were all amazing. Can’t wait for tonight back at mollys again.

This is the best place to go in Brighton. Whether you want a easy going pub in the day, or a busy place in the evening, you can't go wrong here. The tall blonde bar lady I think her name is Pam, is an absolute g. Anyone who needs a good night out will always be happy. Will 100% go back all the time

Mollys is a bastion of hope in an otherwise bleak and uninteresting bar scene in Brighton. From the perfectly topped Guinness to the live music that plays banger after banger.



The manager there (a blonde Irish bombshell called Sam I think) is not only a ‘top lass’ but also has ‘good craic’.



9/10, would recommend (the bar and Sam)

Me and 3 Friends came to Brighton for the weekend and ended up here on the Saturday, Amazing Venue, Atmosphere and Live Singers

I stepped in and was immediately relieved by the cool air, walking in from the hot weather. A lovely welcome and an attractive bar, Eels playing. Next time I’ll have a pint (my daughter was underage)!

I have been to many bars in Brighton and this is by far the best! The atmosphere is brilliant with the live music, the staff could not be nicer and are so polite and approachable, even the door staff are more than welcoming! The bar itself is lovely inside and well kept by the staff, and anytime I have been in the toilets are kept clean to a high standard.

Would highly recommend Molly Malones to anyone when visiting Brighton and I will definitely be back! �

I love Molly Malones. It's my fave place to go in Brighton. Music is always great, beer is flowing and everyone is up dancing.



I was here with 4 of my friends last night and a good time was had by all however the floor was absolutely disgusting. I literally couldn't move my feet and kept tripping over myself because it was so sticky (wooden floor & carpet). I lifted my foot off the carpet and no exaggeration the carpet came with it. The place needs a bit of a deep clean and was the only reason I didn't give it a 5*.

Was expecting great things with live music however we were given 241 cocktail vouchers on arrival and the bar staff and manager failed to honour these vouchers at the bar!!! Security staff were great and stated the bar staff should of honoured the vouchers however her great costumer service wasn't matched by the management or bar staff -terrible service and awful management!!!!

Very very very disgusting rude staff, even the manager tried to cause a fight!! Not worth the money, spent well over £200 and for the manager to be a complete and utter tool. It’s lucky for him because if it would have been someone else, he would have caused a fight. So so disrespectful, rude and I can’t believe how awful they treat their customers, I wouldn’t ever rate it 1* but unfortunately you can’t rate lower. Where’s the complainers procedure exactly?

Very rude staff. Went with a group of friends. I was the biggest (23 stone) and had drank the least (3 pints over 5 hours) yet the barman half my age and size refused to serve me while still serving people who had clearly had more than me. My drunk friend got served who was wobbling all over the place. Drank 3 pints of water and he still refused me!

This pub is an insult to all you Irish people. They rip people off.☘️

Shame. Come here for a Guinness or a few every time I'm in Brighton. Popped in for 1 Guinness, no problem and then came back about an hour with my partner and friends. Turned away because only one without ID. Arrogant door staff, knowing full well I was over 18. 'Challenge 30' yet said they didn't care as it's easy to turn people away as they don't get paid anymore. No wonder pubs are closing. We would have spent over £200 in there tonight. Pathetic place.

I would give a minus if I could!!!!!!!had to show ID at the door, which is fine.. once we got inside the staff were rude and refused to serve us, accusing a friend of having red eyes so they wouldn't serve him, managed to convince that member of staff he wasn't drunk ( which he wasn't!) the other obnoxious male member of staff behind the bar then agreed to serve us, asking for ID again....... at this point we decided enough was enough and politely left, the obnoxious barman followed us out of the pub and told the bouncer to not let us back in for being rude!! I will never be stepping foot in here again!!!!!

I love an Irish bar as much as anybody else. The atmosphere, music and banter is always a winner and you're always guaranteed a good night out. Sadly this bar really missed out when they handed out good old Irish hospitality! I've never encountered such rude and miserable bar staff in all my life; thankfully it didn't seem to be just myself that they were rude to, otherwise I really would have taken it to heart. Customer service at its worst!
