Very happy to give Myllet Arms a 5 stars.
We are down in London few times a week and we visit Myllet Arms everytime, good food, lovely atmosphere haven't found any better place, in the area.
Happy to recummend.
Thanks.
The food was fantastic. The choice of the vegetables was vast on the carvery. The family were relaxed and well fed thank you so much
Overnighting on business at the Premier Inn so visited for drinks and dinner. Really couldn't be happier, great beer and pub grub and the service and chat with Jason made for a really pleasant evening despite my being four hours from home in Cornwall. I hope his boss reads this as the guys a star!!
Went Friday, had booked a table it was ready for us, some if us had carvery some ordered from menu, let's start with the carvery, all the meat was dry, I realise it keeps cooking under the lights but none the less it's not nice dry,, the food from menu was excellent every one who ordered enjoyed it, service was good, staff really helpful, my only moan is that when you email them, they take ages to answer or they don't answer at all, will definitely go back though
Other than the wait staff, who I feel needs improving on,the whole experience was a delight. The food was wonderful and the pub itself lovely.
I've been here a few times since it changed hands and the food is always good quality, lots of variety to choose from and the puddings are incredible! I always eat too much! I find it to be a nice relaxed family environment as I've always taken my children at lunch time, it's clean the play area is an added bonus as it enables parents to relax and take their time and the children entertain themselves, my only criticism is that the staff can be a bit slow at clearing away plates and checking on you but otherwise in my experience they are always friendly, so far so good 🖒
I was there Monday 3rd of April ( Easter holidays)lunch time with my daughter. I haven't been there for couple of years even it's so close for me. The place looked brighter, lighter much of space. The renovation was good, get rid of this patterned carpet and I would say lovely interior😀 There was plenty of food. The carvery was delicious- big portions. My daughter liked the ice cream. The service was perfect. I will come back with the whole family and friends. Thank you.
While the mixed grill and smothered chicken was very nice, what wasn't very nice were the queues of people waiting to order from the one staff member behind the bar. This was the reason we didn't hang around for dessert and cakes. Nowhere near good enough for a busy Tuesday evening.
Visited on Saturday afternoon with two other adults and one child. Took a fair while for staff to notice we needed serving. Ordered starters first but was given the child's meal with this also.
This meaning that she had finished her main before we had a chance to get ours. This meant that she was unhappy. Starters were nice. We shared nachos and chicken wings.
All three adults ordered the carvery. Got up to carvery and waited a fair while yet again with staff coming in and out of the bar/dessert area noticing us. All meat was dry. My gammon was extremely bland and just tasted of salt. The mash potato tasted like smash and also had no seasoning to it. The roast potatos were soggy and yet again had no real flavour/taste. The turkey was lovely but due to the rest of the meal letting it down I didn't get a chance to finish it. The cauliflower cheese had no sauce to it and just have a sprinkling of cheese on the top. They'd run out of the ice cream flavour I wanted so an alternative was given to me. Our little one was given a free scoop of ice cream but didn't expect this due to having money to pay for it.
We asked for a take away box for the food and it was placed on the floor next to our table. The staff were friendly and pleasant but the waiting time and food quality let it down.
Good value for money
Plenty of choices on the children’s menu
Service rather slow if not having the carvery
We ordered food still waiting 40 minuets to be told that they lost the ticket then food arrived 15 minuets later and they gave me the wrong dinner so waited again to be told your luck this dinner was for someone else the gammon it’s self was lovely but poor service
My family and I visited Perivale Farm today for Sunday lunch and sadly we won’t be returning.
Most awful service I have ever received, we had to que over an hour for the carvery! When I complained about to this the manager and the clear lack of staff he argued with me and tried to justify that wait! Although to be fair he did issue me a full refund after 5 minutes (maybe more) of arguing with me while heavily pregnant and dealing with three year old twins! I was not impressed, this is not the customer service I expect!
We were in the restaurant for approximately 2 hours during which time I used the toilets numerous times with my two small children. There was only one toilet with any toilet roll (this includes female and disabled), I told a member of staff after our first visit to the loo but they were never restocked.
Clearly there is a staffing issue within the venue, tables were dirty and not cleared, toilets weren’t restocked and the wait for the carvery is ridiculous.
The play area for children has also changed since our last visit and isn’t as good for toddlers.
I won’t return to Perivale Farm and will tell all my friends the same. Such a shame as it could be the perfect local family restaurant.
visited this afternoon at 5.00 , restaurant was'nt busy ordered food and paid for it only to be told after I,had paid that there was a 30 minute wait! Food arrived and the gammon on the mixed grill was burnt black on one side. Had to ask twice for steak knives and when they arrived they were dirty !! This is the second time we have visited and had poor service, don't think there will be a third. Very disappointed , gone downhill from when it first opened.
Was there last night the queue to be served was more than 30 minutes only 2 visible staff taking the orders and serving drinks. My granddaughter wanted a burger but we were told it would be more than 45 minutes so she had to have a carvery
She also asked for a hot chocolate but no that didn't have that so she had to have soft drink
We went to get carvery and the chef was missing he was in the kitchen trying to get the food cooked when he did return I asked for some better roast potatoes as the ones in the hot plate were broken he said it would be 45.minutes so ended up with boiled ones
We pre order off the sweet menu but still ended up waiting for 30minuutes
The toilets are dirty no toilet paper in the cubicle I was using
There are not enough visible staff on the floor to speak to its obvious there are not enough staff working when the service requires more than a few
I will not be able to go back until the service has improved
Tried to book a table for the England semi and was told they weren’t taking bookings only to turn up yesterday to reserved signs over all the table with tv views - not impressed! Service is begs belief - everytime I have ever been here there is no staff and the service is soooo slow! All in all not fabulous!
Travelled for four hours to the premier inn next door for work yesterday. Went for a drink in the pub at 8.15 pm ish. Asked what time food served until and advised 9.00pm. Had my drink then went to order food at around about 8.40pm. Told very unceremoniously that the kitchen had shut. 14 hour day, four hour drive, temperatures in the high 20s and just wanted a light bite. Nothing. Evidently you'd made enough money that day so you won't need my business again when I'm in West London. Shocking customer service.
I had a carvery and my partner had fish & chips the fish was full off oil it was dripping so bad I went up for my food and wait 20 minutes when I got the veg & potatoes was cold & yourshire pudding was rock hard we won’t be going back
Customer service was terrible and staff not welcoming. Carvery veg was cold and looked as though it had been there all day. We complained but there wasn't really an apology. Ordered desserts - ice cream flavours not available / items missing from child's ice cream sundae. Ate there too for premier Inn breakfast again items not available most days - ran out of all jams etc , juice not filled up, ran out of plates for toast and that's just some of it ....
Booked a table here yesterday and on arrival was greeted with a complete restaurant of dirty tables with no staff. I eventually found someone who said oh sit where you like! I had to then a clean a table!
Queued up to buy some food, paid, went to the carvery to be told we only have what’s here. There was only turkey scraps... when I complained the lady told me it wasn’t her fault. I agree but they should not have sold tickets for food that they didn’t have. Asked for a manager, she never came. We had no choice but to take what was in offer. Absolutely awful- hardly edible. No manager came and we left.
Awful customer experience and awful food. I can’t believe that they were selling tickets for food that wasn’t even available and that no one seemed to care about the customers at all. Massive letdown
