Newtown Silver Band

Newtown Silver Band was established in 1880 and has continuously served the people and community of Newtown and Mid Wales since that date.
The band currently has approx 25-30 senior band players and well attended learners and training bands comprising members of all ages and experience all under the direction of our long serving MD Steve Edwards.
The Bandroom is situated on Back Lane adjacent to the bus station opposite Bear Lanes shopping precinct.
The three bands rehearse as follows:
Learners Band - Monday 6pm
Training Band - Thursday 6. 30pm
Senior Band - Thursday 7. 30pm
