Some acceleration πŸ’¨ and change-of-direction work for our Friday 5pm Youth level 1 athletic development group (primary school years 5 & 6). _ Lead and Trail hoop sprints: 1. Lead chooses which hoop run to take, 2. Trail has to react, follow the lead and try catch. _ This was done from different start positions and different reactive stimulus (whistle, visual, mirroring).

have been training with Ben for a year and have been really impressed with his work. Before I started attending Ben’s classes, I had got into a bit of a rut, spending much time on the treadmill and rowing machine which was in my comfort zone, being a long distance runner. Over the years, I have attended a variety of classes of mixed quality. It is difficult to find an instructor who can keep things fresh and accommodate individuals with differing fitness levels. Ben’s classes are by far the best I have ever participated in. He maximises every session to motivate and challenge you, while keeping things endlessly varied and enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed the Tribal class which involves a dozen or so different exercises, working with a partner. Additionally, the HIIT class was another favourite, especially the little surprises often thrown in at the end. It's obvious he is committed to thinking about each person in a class, tailoring variations to suit individuals while inspiring the team. He has worked hard (though not as hard as he's encouraged me to work!) to help me achieve my goals. Although I was in good shape before I started with Ben, I am now noticeably stronger and fitter overall Thank you, Ben.

Since attending Ben’s classes I’ve been introduced to a brand new side of the gym that I had never known existed – weights, strength and conditioning! I had previously been a bit of a cardio / HITT maniac – working too hard and not seeing results. Ben changed all of that for me!



Incorporating weights and movements that I would never had heard of without Ben have now become part of my regular training routine. My favourite training day by far is the Tribal class! With a mix of High Intensity exercises to get your heart rate up and burning fat, and the use of inventive weight based training for Strength and Conditioning, it really does have everything! I’d never even heard of Battling Ropes or a Prowler before this class, now they’re 2 of my most commonly used equipment! With a challenging and supportive environment of working with a partner, Ben really does push you to make sure you’re giving it everything.



I can’t thank Ben enough for introducing me to this style of training and helping me by writing up detailed Training Plans – as someone who was a bit of a novice when it came to the gym, it has had a huge impact on me and means that I actually look forward to going in and training – something I would never had heard myself say before – Thanks Ben!

My Son has been going here since it opened in fact he was the first Youth to sign up. Ben has been great with him showing him the ropes and helping him understand his programme. He couldn't even do a press up when he started but he has greatly improved his strength and fitness in a short space of time. The small tailored classes suit him really well. Highly recommend it.

My 11 year old son has been attending Bens level 1 class for the last month. He has been working on all aspects of athletic performance including balance, strength, agility and dynamic movement. All these aspects have been carried out in a fun safe environment. Ben is highly qualified and focuses on the importance of technique over sweating buckets. My son loves the classes and is visibly improving in all aspects of athleticism. Highly recommended.

I’ve been going to Next Generation for nearly 2 years and I can’t recommend the set up enough.



The classes and small group training continue to be varied and provide all levels of challenge from personalised beginner to athlete programs and always a good atmosphere in the gym.



After attending varying gyms in the last 8 years, this gym is a complete change to the norm. None have kept me so interested or encouraged proper form so much when lifting, with Ben introducing exercises I would never have attempted or thought of in the regular work out.



I’ve never been so physically fit or able to lift such weights consistently all due to the programs followed by Ben. Thoroughly recommend a trial!

I've been going to the next generation gym in Baildon now for 20 months. I've never enjoyed exercise so much. Previously I'd been to a number of commercial gyms and also small basic gyms but was never really happy or indeed motivated.

When I walked into Ben's gym it was like no other gym I'd been to and I didn't know what to think. I decided to sign up for a free one month trial and I've never looked back.

The gym is run on the basis of small classes. Ben always has his eyes on you and really makes sure your technique is as good as possible. Ben takes his time to give you one to one advice, he always has time for you.

The small group sessions are really motivational and the people that go are friendly and down to earth.

I lost 2 stone and I'm much fitter and feel healthier.

Most of all though I look forward to my gym sessions and never get that 'Can't be bothered' feeling.

I recommend the next generation gym in Baildon to anyone who want to improve fitness but are turned off by other gyms. This one really is different.

I have now finished my 30-day trial period and I have decided to continue with Bens program at Next Generation. I have lost a stone since I started which is due to Bens program and his advice on eating the correct food. I have really enjoyed the journey so far and look forward to being fit and healthy.

Ben's classes are great: hard work and enjoyable, and a good mix of strength, conditioning and HIIT. He has an innovative and science-based approach to training which is really tailored to the individual. The results are also impressive: you can really feel it and there's increased strength, tone and definition. Five stars!

Alfie has been coming a while now and his rugby game has improved massively due to the training he has with Ben he is improving every week! Wish we had started it sooner!
