An open letter to the NextLevel Goalkeeping Family 📮
Hey guys!
I hope you’re well and you’re enjoying this wonderful World Cup!
... Well, where do I start? It’s been a whirlwind few weeks! As you may have seen, I recently signed for Wolfsburg. To join the Bundesliga and three time European champions, is an opportunity I’m incredibly excited about. That said, naturally as a consequence of my decision, it’s unlikely that there will be many NextLevel Goalkeeping sessions in the near future - I'm genuinely gutted about this as working with you guys has been a joy. I hope you've enjoyed working with me as much as I've enjoyed working with you, and I hope I have played even a small part in your development/career. Truly and sincerely, it's been a pleasure.
You'll know by now that one of the key principles at NextLevel Goalkeeping is about working hard every day to be the absolute best you can be, both as a player and as a person - I regularly talk about it at my sessions. To be the best you can be often includes pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone and at this stage in my career, I feel that it is time to do just that. I’m someone who feels strongly that you should not only talk the talk, but also walk the walk and I would be doing myself, my family and all of you a disservice if I did not practice what I preach.
I plan to pick things back up again in the future and I also have a few other things up my sleeve which means it is not the end for NextLevel, so don't put me in your junk mail just yet 😉. I wanted to post this letter to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your support over the last few years. Since I started the company in late 2015, I’ve met some wonderful people - both the goalkeepers I’ve worked with and their incredible network of family and friends. I hope you can understand this decision and I hope we remain in touch.
This is not goodbye, but a see you soon.

Thoroughly enjoyed my session with Mary, excellent coaching and advice throughout, will deffinately be back for more 🙂 highly recommend it for anyone at any level!!

The session was for one of our clubs ladies keepers. The session was amazing from start to finish.



Mary is a top professional, looks the part, is friendly, and her knowledge is 2nd to none. I was so so impressed.



I would recommend her coaching to any goalkeeper looking for specialist advice.

Thank you for a brilliant coaching session. Joe thoroughly enjoyed himself and learnt so much. Each training exercise helped him develop his skills in so many ways. Mary's approach to coaching a 9 year old was perfect. She worked him hard, was full of praise and he loved it all.

Saffy has just had her second one to one session with Mary, having loved her first back in October. She loved this one just as much as the first, and is coming away with new skills, ideas and areas to work on each time. GK coaching for girls in our area is sadly lacking and if we lived more local, Saffy would be at Mary's sessions every week. She is a great coach and a real inspiration to our youngsters- we are already working out when we can book another one to one session! My daughter's technique, confidence and passion for the game have grown beyond recognition thanks to Mary. She inspires, teaches, and cares about the children! Mary is a fabulous role model!

My daughter loves Mary Earps training, she says its the best she has ever had and she has trained with Reading fc and Chelsea fc. No matter if it is one to one or a group session, Mary always delivers first class training. Mary is an inspiration.

My daughter is loving the girls only sessions with Next Level. Mary is great with the goalkeepers and having dedicated girls only training is fantastic.

My daughter Lucy loves attending these sessions. Content of training good and the General atmosphere has helped increase her confidence levels. Many thanks Mary for this fantastic opportunity... ☺⚽

I'd like to post the below message on behalf of a parent who's child plays for FC Bracknell U07's.



Just want to start by saying thank you for the amazing opportunity that was given to Maison to train with Mary. He has thoroughly enjoyed every session and has everything crossed for next year.



Maison only started with FC Bracknell U07 in the summer and always had his heart set on being a goal keeper. He has great coordination, however is confidence and fear of getting kicked in the face etc held him back a little bit.



Since training with Mary the difference in the way he plays on a Saturday with his team is very clear. He is coming out to get he ball with no fear, he is more alert and concentrated. Everything from attitude/concentration to skill has been greatly improved.



Maison is one of the youngest on a Monday at keeper training but Mary hasn't once let up on him because of his age or treated him any differently. She is fair, passionate and makes training professional but fun at the same time.



You can see by the way Mary coaches that she wants the best for the boys and we are very grateful for all her help. Maison has loved every minute of it.

Not only have you made his dream come true being his a very big Reading FC fan you have also given the boys including kye some fantastic advise and coaching... Since kye has joined you for training his attitude in Saturday's games have been amazing .... Taking on board the advise and skills he has learnt from you ... Earning him self man if match within the first week of his coaching lesson with you.

I could go on for ever with how grateful I am and how much kye is looking forward to hopefully more sessions in 2017 with u ... Once again thank you Mary and all best for your future with Reading and England x

As a manager with very little GK experience it's always nice to have a look at drills to use in training ⚽️
