Nhs North West Surrey Clinical Commissioning Group Description

We're a group of clinicians and managers responsible for commissioning, or ‘buying’, healthcare services for around 360, 000 people in North West Surrey across the boroughs of Elmbridge (West), Runnymede, Spelthorne and Woking.

We work with patients and health and social care providers, such as local hospitals, borough councils and community groups, to plan what services are needed and make sure they meet the health needs of local people. We then commission, or ‘buy’, these services from organisations that provide them.

It's important to make sure older neighbours and relatives are OK during winter. Popping in can make the world of difference to how they're feeling. More information here: https://www.nhs.uk/live-w…/healthy-body /keep-warm-keep-well/

Please help the local NHS to help you by coming to a research meeting where your feedback will shape plans for urgent care services.
We will look at two different (theoretical) models in which urgent care might be delivered. Then we will discuss what is important to you about how this care is delivered and how local services can respond best to this.

Antibiotics aren’t always needed when you feel unwell. Coughs, earache and sore throats can get better by themselves. Talk to your pharmacist about medicines to help with your symptoms or pain. Help #KeepAntibioticsWorking po.st/L0pU1J

If you suffer from a heart, lung or kidney condition, it's important you get your flu jab. Speak to your pharmacist or GP for more information.
