Today it’s the end of my journey with Nomad. It’s wasn’t a decision that was easy to make, but I know it’s the right time to move on and I’ll leave you in good hands. Visited today and had a make your own vegan toastie- it was delish! Couldn’t decide on cake so took 2 home with me� the lady who served us was really lovely and helpful, highly recommend! Thank you for such a good lunch

The best bread and apple cake ever, leave been told to go wheat dairy and sesame free, and Laura at the bakery still delivers the best food. Food makes me happy and the nomad bakery does in a 5* style.

Really friendly atmosphere with amazing vegan food. Our soup was the absolute favourite but all of the three courses tasted amazing. Will definately be a regular for this great Vegan enterprise. All the staff made you feel very welcome and the evening was very enjoyable. Take the time to try it if you get the chance.

My daughter and granddaughter had tea and cake that was absolutely delicious and the customer service outstanding. Thank you Nomad bakery for a lovely time.

Love, love, love this bakery/cafe. I love the vibe, the people, the ethos, the coffee, the food. But what I love the most about this place....the sour dough. Without doubt this place does THE BEST sourdough I have ever had. I'm practically down there every week for a loaf. If only they did a loyalty card for that ;)

Love love and love this place! The coffee is great and the bread and pastries are absolutely delicious! I try to go every weekend to get my bread provision and an amazing breakfast with real and natural ‘mediaslunas’. Laura is a guru of the artisan and tasty flavors!! :)

I dont really feel so satisfied with most places I go to eat. Here I felt satisfied, healthy, full but not bloated, and welcomed.

Food was delish, friendly staff, ORGANIC, VEGAN and GLUTEN FREE options!!! yeahyeah :D

A wholesome hot lunch with a great cup of coffee is only @tenner+/- Great value for money compared to a chain coffee house

Vegan/vegetarian options on main menu if your that way inclined (definitely not Me!)

Fabulous afternoon with the baker, the best coffee I have ever had, tried lots of food with friends, all amazing flavours and we all loved it - thanks so much Laura and the team!

Everything made here is made with love. The ingredients are fresh and seasonal. The menu is creative and delicious. It’s a gem in Caversham that I hope stays for years and years to come!

Couldn’t recommend this place enough! The food was incredible and loved the personalised service. The waitress came over with a menu, sat down and asked about our dietary requirements. After we told her we were Vegan she talked through the drinks she recommended and the plant based milk they’d go best with as well as explaining how we could make each meal “Vegan”. We went for the soup with roast vegetables, beetroot lentil “hearty bowl” and the tofu scramble with chickpeas and sourdough which was all amazing! We’ll definitely be back �

After recently becoming dairy intolerant finding places to eat can be tricky, I popped in here yesterday with friends to see if they had anything on offer and I was told I could have basically anything from the menu!! Wow!! I had pouched egg on sourdough bread with a tomato type sauce and it was delicious � I shall definitely be coming back �

Absolute best cakes around, lovely staff, chilled atmosphere. Highly recommended and I'm always finding excuses to come back �

Great space, great atmosphere & great tea. I tried the unusual non caffeine Teas, ginger and pear and mulled wine, both were lovely and a real change from peppermint or camomile. The food looked lovely and I daftly had turned up on a fast day so I will be back to sample the delicious looking soup and cake! I really like the window bench table arrangement as after my friend had left, I got into a conversation with a woman and her child and it was just really nice watching the world go by outside and chatting with a complete stranger. Lovely addition to Caversham ����

Nice little rustic coffee shop with home made breads. Coffee was good and well presented. I questioned them about Wheat Free bread and was told that they have Rye and Sour Dough (Rye and Sour Dough have gluten) and when I asked if they had grain free bread, I was told quite rudely that that was not bread. I think that if a customer askes a question it should be answered without sounding arrogant and condescending. I would have rated this higher but did not like the attitude of the waitress. I think that in this day and age people should be slightly more open minded to different varieties and creative methods of preparing food. I have been baking for more that 30 years and there is nothing spectacular about the bread on offer. Won’t be going back there in a hurry!
