We were late arriving thanks to some accidents on route but we needn't have worried the lovely, warm staff were waiting for us. We were shown to our pitch and we soon set up, the pitches are great, in fact the whole site is beautiful. The showers/toilets are clean and warm, the atmosphere here has been friendly and comfortable.

It truly was a fantastic bank holiday weekend, thank you all so much and we will definitely be back!

We have just had the best weekend ever! Lovely campsite. Clean facilities, great play area for kids and fab pitch sizes! Plenty of room to move without being on top of other campers (even during a busy bank holiday), very relaxing. The staff were amazing, welcoming and couldn’t be more helpful!! We can’t wait to return for another stay :)

We are still here enjoying the site for the 3rd time. Did the caring thing by mentioning hubby was here because he can walk across the road to fish. So we got a pitch so hubby didn't have far to walk. Only problem early morning noise from road. Hey that's not sites fault. Been 2 yrs since we were last here toilet/shower block has been refurbished it is 5*. Quite busy site considering the time of year .Staff friendly and helpful.

Really nice setting next to the beach. Clean facilities. Some people seem confused by the check in. Join the que and go and check in at reception, they will give u a slip get back into car/camper they will come for you and show u to your site. Really friendly staff. However the little shop does not take cards so I could not buy chocolate. Sad times

On arrival we were met by welcoming friendly staff who showed us to our pitch with a very helpful briefing on where all facilities were. On our way in we saw beautiful attended flowers and cheerful hand made figures which couldn’t help put a smile on our faces after a long tiring journey, the staff were always so friendly and helpful no matter how busy they were, they kept the site so clean and tidy even the showers were spotless. Well done to all the staff and thank you for a carefree stay.

Normans Bay Camping&Caravan site is lovely well maintained and clean site excellent facilities very friendly and helpful park wardens who are please to help you with anything we have been coming here for number years now lovel beach sort across the road from site great for dog walks there is designated area on the site for dog walks small amount of adminaties available in main building office. Plenty to do and see within the nearby area plenty nice pubs with good food on offer nearby main town Eastbourne around four miles away with plenty going on to go and adventure.

We come here at least twice year and find it nice relaxing site to sit back and rest and relax very peaceful place to enjoy so come check out yourself.

Lovely well maintained site, friendly staff always willing to assist.

User

Lovely site, well maintained and friendly helpful staff. Lots of clean toilet facilities and very close to the beach. The only downside is the site is a reasonable distance to the nearest town and pubs, not a problem if you have a car, but if you are travelling in a motorhome, make sure your fridge is stocked.

Lovely site staff very friendly , we've stay here twice this year, pitches very good size facilites very clean plenty of hot water. Grand children enjoyed the play park when they visited us for the afternoon , will be coming back again later in the year .

It's the second time we have stayed at this site. Three generations went this time and we all loved it. It's clean, welcoming and quiet. A bonus is the beach over the road. The staff are friendly and there is a well stocked shop and a lovely park on site for the kids. We will definitely visit again

I have had nothing but good experiences from this site, from the booking to everything in between. I go at last twice a year with my dog and family in their tent. I have a small motorhome and have always found the staff helpful and welcoming.

Friendly staff, lovely site ,clean and tidy , neat beach

Near Eastbourne and Hastings, Bexhill, Beachy Head

User

Friendly staff and excellent hard pitch with good facilities. WiFi everywhere on site now so you don't have to hang around the office any longer for a signal. Shame southern rail is not capable of running a reliable rail service from Normans Bay station or anywhere else for that matter.

User

Close to the beach and friendly staff. Shop is limited rather than the "well stocked" it says in the club book and only takes cash. Pevensey is a pleasant cycle ride away and we found a nice beach front pub which served food and has a beautiful outlook... the Aqua Bay. The local shop half a mile up the road is well stocked and the staff are very friendly. We'd come again.

We had a lovely break here during the half term using one of the Ready Camp tents. The site facilities and tent were comfortable and clean and staff were friendly. I definitely recommend the Ready Camp for anyone without a tent, or who wants to experience a camping holiday with more ease and a few more creature comforts than a regular tent can offer.

You need a car for day trips and shopping as there isn’t much in the immediate area. We visited Drusillas Park, Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway Adventure Park and The Sovereign Centre (local leisure centre with a good pool for kids). The beach is just across the road from the campsite and which is perfect.

Thanks for a good holiday!

My friend and I and our two four year olds have just come back from our first camping trip. We loved the site, the quiet beach and the fact that it wasn't far from Hastings and Eastbourne. The facilities were clean and it had an outside play section that our kids enjoyed. We didn't receive a great welcome from the women on reception but Frank was great, friendly and helpful. However on our last day my car wouldn't start and my friend had a flat tyre. One particular woman (different to the unwelcoming one) on reception was very unhelpful and dismissive, very rude. We had no cash and no phone and two confused boys. I still can't believe someone could be so unkind. I was sat outside in tears when strangers came to our rescue. Chris, Debbie and Sarah, thank you! They were so generous and kind, entertaining our boys and making us tea and coffee whilst Chris pumped my friends tyre and then got my car started. To these lovely people if you read this please message me, I'd love to keep in touch.

Lovely friendly site with a relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful clean facilities. Busy but peaceful. Right on the beach. Booked online and no hookups available but seemed to be plenty free when we walked around site.

User

I was pleased with the camp, site the wifi at camp is expensive my main complaint was it was very windy on my arrival there and I asked if I could turn caravan so the rear would take the strong wind blowing this was refused so I had to wait till wind eased. I travel a lot in Europe with my van and this jobs worth attitude to positioning your caravan never comes up I had a great view of my next door neighbours car when sitting in awning please relax this attitude to milatery line up you go to a site to relax and enjoy not to endure rules that make no sense if it was a safety rule I could understand but this just puts me off returning to site David McArthur
