Knowledgeable staff and fitness instructors. Respond promptly to queries. However if you miss a class or appointment you are being bombarded by emails and reminders, which I guess has its pros and cons.

Facilities are relatively clean and if something is reported to be out of order staff do act on it promptly. Decor is rather outdated, however that might depend on taste.

Majority of customer service I received was really good so far, however staff seem overworked and stressed at times.

The gym has git everything you need, they offer a wide range of classes, personal training and much more. Plus a creche in the mornings, kids swimming every day and a restaurant/cafe area.

Great gym and had every thing i need. Nice pool with clean changing rooms and friendly staff

Darryl Jackson teaches the best Abs/Core class every Wednesday 9.30-10am.

Another top notch spin class with Brian.

Love the feel of the place. Staff are always friendly & happy to help( Jay & David Wallace especially) & even had it brought to my attention yesterday by David that i should refresh my training program which i shall book in for. The downside is that the jacuzzi was out of action & i hope this will be repaired very soon. Also the general the general appearance of the pool area could do with a good makeover.

Really need to fix the air conditioning unit for spin class and reposition fan on Wall so it can turn. It has been unbearable in the spin room for years and no improvement.

Great instructors though.... Really enjoy spin classes despite the heat.

If your are close and this is in your budget, then it's an OK place.



I mostly use the pool and spa facilities. It's all tired, whilst you can see attempts to keep things OK, it's not the lovely, super clean, pleasant relaxing place it could be.



The jacuzzi style spa fluctuates in temperature a lot. It's rarely really nice and hot.



There is swimming for kids in the afternoon till 5.30pm. Avoid this if possible, as two lanes (about half of the pool) are taken up for lessons. In the last lane there are often kids playing, which makes it very hard to have a decent swim. Not the kids fault at all, it's the parents not respecting the swimming space of others or looking after their kids. The life guards don't ever, ever intervene either, so it's best just not to be there. Huge pity as this means the amount you pay feels like less value as the pool isn't usable in the afternoons.



The changing rooms often aren't clean or tidy as they could be. This is partly people not choosing up their towels or rubbish. There is only one private changing room in the ladies, with a curtain that doesn't cover the space properly and not very good lighting.



Would also be really nice to have better communication in their Facebook page and website, such as opening times over Easter etc!



Pity, could be really nice. Why do I stay? The only closer pool is David Lloyd, and their prices are utterly extortionate, so, there you go.

The ladies changing rooms are filthy! Tissues, cotton buds, leaves from outside and dirty towels left on the floor.

The showers are in serious need or refurbishment, at least three are leaking and there's never soap in the dispensers. The floor isn't clean- hair everywhere.

The pool is also never clean - plasters and hair in the water.

After coming from the Nuffield in Wandsworth which is immaculate, I'm really disappointed.

The current level of management, running and customer service leaves a lot to be desired. As a member am left feeling very frustrated and unsatisfied with the service. A great shame for a unique product.

Once again lack of weights for body pump, this seams to be every class i go too, have put this information into the suggestion book but never get a reply. Steve Evans
