Thank you for being so accommodating today - great gym - very helpful staff members full marks from the Davies to all involved

User

Shipley Nuffield is by far the best gym we have visited. The staff are very friendly & helpful. Full of smiles & conversation. The people that go to the gym are lovely & friendly also.

We recently went to the Guiseley Nuffield & it was the worst experience we have ever encountered. Rude staff, poor facilities & was made to feel very uncomfortable as we go to the gym with a young disabled gentlemen. Was offered no help what so ever.

Would highly recommend Shipley Nuffield ÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩ

After a lot of arranging things so I could go to body pump this morning when I got there the class had been cancelled , I am not happy as this has often happened to me , the manager said they had put it on FB bug nothing came down my time line , one more time and I will be leaving to go else where sick of wasting my time and petrol .

User

Recently rejoined, following a ten year interregnum. The facilities have slightly improved, (better and more varied machines, plus the welcome addition of a, "ladies only gym").

However, the provision of towels has seen a deterioration, (previously part of the membership fee and of better quality), and the pool still has slightly too much chlorine.

Otherwise excellent value.

User

Only joined a few days ago but am dissapointed to see dirt i.e. mud, straw, paper and apple pips that were on the changing room floor at 11am Saturday were still there at 9am Sunday morning.

User

I use this gym on a regular basis, I have personal training with Tyrone who without doubt is in my opinion the best!!

I think maybe there should be disinfectant wipes around the gym as people on the whole don't clean the equipment after use.

The only other thing that bugs me is, I thought it was supposed to be a no mobile phone zone, it's so annoying when people are sat on equipment that others may want to use sending a text or whatever they are doing!! You're at a gym....work out!!!

Tyrone has been training me for a while now & I've lost 20kilos & 22.5" thanks to him helping me with my nutrition as well as working me hard!!

Anyone wanting a personal trainer Tyrones your man ÔøΩÔøΩ

User

I go purely for the swimming which I love. I can always swim comfortably with no issues xxx

User

Do something about moving Friday morning body combat back to the other studio. It is too small and gets very hot in there. Management have been asked to sort!!

User

As with all Fitness places. Too expensive to be a member. Need to review prices or have a pay as you go scheme. Some of us seniors can't afford .

But a nice clean friendly place. With a nice cafe to chill in

User

Out of all the gyms I have been too, this is most frustrating. It has the potential to be a very good gym, if they enlarged the men’s weights area. It’s very busy 90% of the time and you cannot move or have to wait to use the equipment. A larger room, a few more benches and free weights would go along way. At the moment you seem to do more standing around exercising for £42 p/m than preferred exercises.

User

I am disappointed with the changes in the Bodypump schedule. You changed the timetable to something ideal for a very short while (just over a week) and then it all changed again. Bodypump is now only available on Monday evening, Wednesday evening, Thursday morning and Saturday morning. Yet Guiseley has Bodypump 6 days a week and sometimes twice a day.

My work schedule means I can now only attend once a week and Bodypump is my main reason for attending. There really should be a higher frequency of classes, or at least I should be able to attend at Guiseley as well as Shipley to enable me to benefit. Ideally you should look to provide more Bodypump sessions at Shipley as it's a popular class. It's also a class that should be available mornings, not just at 7:30PM which is very late and doesn't give me a lot of time to relax in the jacuzzi after the class.

User

Enjoy going to Nuffield however they really do need to replace some of the treadmills they are very tired & are difficult to set to any type of workout & still miffed at the Saturday & Sunday closing hours........used to enjoy our Sunday night swim & sauna.

User

At the moment I have had to complain about the number of both cross trainers and tread mills which have been broken with notices on them for a few months now and are building up.

I was informed Nuffield have issues with the contractor, however this doesn't help the members.

User

Out of the 3 regional Nuffield gyms we have visited, this is the only one that charges to hire a towel - £1 each!

Think I will stick to the others in future.

User

Cancel classes without notice and equipment needing updating badly for classes and in the gym itself

User

Soft Theft target, be careful, due to the lack of investment this place is a gold mine for thieves now, people jamming car signals and then taking what they like from the cars, various bike have been stolen from the front area, and now apparently thieves are taking locker keys away, getting them cut and returning for a lucky dip, make sure you are well insured before joining this place as there is no security at all!, Not one camera in the car park, barrier has now gone from the car park, no chance they will invest a penny to stop this from happening, that's 100% certain.

Likewise aircon does not work (for the last 2 years minimum) and many machines are broken/worn out, avoid like the plague.
