Having had the opportunity to run a lighting shop, in one of my many skill chasing guises, I was greatly frustrated by the lack of colour choice, and the homogenised design principles involved. I felt the feminine influence was missing.
Without thoughtful lighting any decorating scheme will probably fall flat, but the light fixture itself should be part of the scheme ! Since I first started developing these ideas more individual pieces have become available, but still the colour and the link to the overall room design has been missing.
So these pieces of lighting I bring to you, while still 'engineered' for safety, are also designed to give you the same joy, comfort and tactile pleasure that the gorgeous cable knit wool throw or silk cushion does when you survey your favourite room.
