Great service! Friendly helpful staff & management. We missed part of our film due to car problems & traffic & the screen was full so the great staff managed to change our tickets to the next showing so happy kids & a great film, Thank you for saving the day

User

Great place to go and loose yourself in film and just chill for a few hours.

We saw the film Patrick, all about a very naughty pug, great film, but a little weepy too.

I do quite like this cinema, yeah ok its a bit grubby but isn't it due a re-vamp soon? The staff here are lovely, so friendly and helpful especially Liberty and a young lad with glasses and had Bladerunner 2017 on his name badge (who helped yesterday with my limitless card!) I went 2 c The Greatest Showman which was probably the best feel good film I've seen in a long time!

We visited on 10th July to watch Witney, the film. The film was superb, but I felt sorry for the young lady that served us with food and drink beforehand. She advised me that it was her first day and she was getting a bit flustered. She had been left on her own, and a queue was building up. What company is this that leaves a new member of staff of their own on their first day. Absolutely disgraceful.

Was Ok ish I guess. I found the sound was way to loud and scratching my ears 😐. I think they should cut down on the amount of advertising they play before the movie or I need to get 2x large popcorn lol

User

My husband and i had a nice time , you do get to much paper for your reciept, we don't buy sweets, popcorn or food as we feel the price is way to high and the Que was very big but staff were friendly and I it was clean. We've not had any concerns in the past either xx

Happy with our experience, more leg room and chair room than cineworld 😊 costa is a god send!

Movie seemed amazing, a really good conversation starter. The screen light gave everyone the perfect selfie glow. A few people wanted to stay for another screening as they were apparently attempting to put up tents. One must have been building a shed I think. A special thank you to staff for slamming and knocking on doors in beat to the music. All in all IT was a perfect movie to wrap Christmas presents and foil your chicken ready for Sunday roast. 10/10 would watch gogglebox live again!

User

It was ok, but felt tired in its decor and the fact that we had to wait over 10 mins for them to heat up the cheese for the nachos didn’t help! Normally gosto cineworld in the marina which unwilling return to .

Visited last night to watch Incredibles 2. Screen 3 is so hot that everyone in the audience was sweating and uncomfortable throughout. I spoke with a member of staff afterwards who said "we know, the managers have known about it for ages but won't get it fixed. we asked them to start providing bottled water for customers but they refused" - it was approx 28c in the room part way through the movie which is completely unacceptable especially given the current weather.

The place is in dier need of a refurbishment and i mean a total ine not just a new poster board !!

The enterance is a joke a big massive isore of tge building and you eitger enter thru Cista Coffee or riund tge back thru a single double door reduced to single because a home less man is sleeping against the door

Theres no paybox anymore you either pay by card at a machine ir allow an hour extra time to stand at the concession counter to but them buy cash along with everyone else queueing for their over priced post mix pop and soggy popcorn.

After waiting an hour you finally get to the front to be told the showing is sold out !!

The toilets are filthy and stink.

The screens are small and unkempt with sticky carpets worn seats and small screens with poor sound.

The lights remain on until they are turned off manually by a member of staff after someone went to complain.

Some of the screens you can hear the bars and clubs from the neighbouring buisness accompanied by the staff singing and banging on the doors intime to the music.

Over all its a poor example of an Odeon cinema considering they have state of the art venues in other cities.

Brighton needs a nice new multiplex maybe Vue should have come when they said they were

I dont recomend this place and at all costz try not to need screen 7 or 8.

The film was great but there was nobody performing any crowd control at all. Approx 300 people stood around, clogging the stairs. When I arrived there was a queue but nobody ensured this was maintained. People just arrived at the stairs and stood wherever there was space. When the theatre was opened everybody rushed forwards. How nobody was hurt is a miracle.

User

Sorry odeon but today in screen 3 was no air con. The temperature outside was about 28 degrees. It was unbearable . It’s a lot of money for three to see a film so was not impressed . We literally dozed off . There didn’t seem anyone senior to say anything to.

User

Please explain to me as to why I'm paying more to see the same film as someone sitting next to me because I booked online???????? Feel slightly ripped off as family next to us payed nearly £3.00 less because they bought the tickets in the foyer?? Cineworld charge less for booking online which again I think is still not right as we are all still watching the same film regardless if we book online or turn up and buy them in the foyer!! Coming to cinema is expensive enough!!!

User

People messing about in Cinema, staff don’t seem to monitor or care about what’s going on.

It’s not like it’s cheap to go there.

Odeon needs to be aware of their need to be open and inclusive for any form of audience. What the news on excluding the hearing impaired demonstrated is the company’s lack of commitment on this matter. What’s the point of you guys being based in Brighton, if you cannot be inclusive?

User

I too am disgusted that despite offering free tickets to those with loss of hearing, you remove the subtitles under pressure from the ordinary public. What kind of decision is this? You should be ashamed of yourselves.

User

Disgusting. On a break in Brighton and had 3 hours to kill before our booked evening meal so went there impromptu to watch a film. Got off to a great start, first had to have hand written ticket cos machine not working. Both ladies and gents loo on first floor blocked and out of order and staff appeared not to know where others were. Ended up using disabled (apparently there were some on second floor). Seats in Screen 7 very worn. Horrid place won't be going there again in a hurry. Good job the film was worth watching.

User

Despite my suffering from moderate hearing loss and requiring subtitles to follow the story, I frequently have to do without in this cinema as they barely offer any subtitled showings. See Avengers: Infinity War, for example. Released last week, several showings a day (12 on weekdays, 16 at the weekend), yet only one subtitled showing in the whole week! From what I gather from the comments, it appears that even those can be cancelled on the spot if anyone complains, so I'm seriously reluctant to keep giving them my patronage.
