Took kids to see big hero 6 yesterday really enjoyed by all 4 of us and first time they have all sat through from start to finish fantastic peace at last
The manager was extremely kind and patient when I couldn't retrieve my tickets of my phone (yes I am blonde lol ) he couldn't of been more helpful .
Really impressed today. The staff went out of their way to make sure my young children had a great experience!
If you want a cinema where they actually turn the lights down this is the place for you.
I really don't know where to start...... we were due to visit as part of our anniversary celebration but unfortunately there was a bit of a hick up with our booking and our viewing had to be changed. Although the change caused disruption to our evening however when we arrived at the cinema we were blown away with the amazing welcome we received. Jamie, Dean, Damion, and all the rest of the staff on this evening went out their way to make our evening special, the flowers were the icing on the cake . I don't know how to say thank you enough you made our evening and we are really looking forward to returning. Thank you so much, Beth and Guy xxx
I love going to the Odeon cinema in Port Solent with the obvious benefits of free parking, and going for a meal afterwards an idyllic setting, the whole movie atmosphere is here..
Excellent position with plenty of parking, multi screen with loads of options. However the ladies toilets need attention, I accompanied my 4
+ 5 year old grandchildren into the loo, another customer thankfully stopped them using the hand washing facilities saying they had been out of order for a while, at least since her last visit, only running hot water which could have led to a bad accident.
Bargain ..my husband got in for free as my carer and I had enough points on my card to also get in free . .thank you Odeon.
Good night out bit of a queue for people buying drinks and sweets would visit agsin
Free parking, could do with a refresh of the seating especially if paying for the premium seats. All the competition now provide very comfortable seating for premium seating customers.
It is what it is.bring your own confectionary.
It is ok for what it is could do with a face lift because it's a little bit dated but other than that it's fine
Expensive, a bit basic but good free parking with reasonably priced places to eat nearby
When you go to a cinema surely salted popcorn is a given?? Not at Odeon Port Solent...they apparently don't have salted popcorn!! Not to mention Only difference between Premier seating and normal seating is the colour!!#pissed #rant #neveragain A Lot of money spent and a bad experience. Never again!!!
Just been to Port Solent for screen Unseen and the film was The Big short absolute garbage film, why can't you tell us what the preview is like they used then I wouldn't have wasted my time and money
I was very disappointed last Sunday. I took my 4year old boy to this cinema to watch inside out 10.30 showing. We queued for 10minutes before asking an attendant how else I could buy tickets for the showing as it was getting later & later & the queue was very long. So trying to purchase tickets from the machine for the film, I couldn't find it on the listings. I went back to ask another attendant at the desk why I couldn't find the film to buy tickets, for her to say they had cancelled the 10.30 screening & replaced it with minions!!! I had one very upset little boy!!! I think it is terrible that head office can just cancel a screening as and when they feel like it! I had only gone on the website that morning which still stated a 10.00 & 10.30 showing for this film!! Not sure I'll be returning to this cinema!!
I have been trying to book tickets for swan lake on line for an hour. Each time I book and fill in my name and credit card details I'm told there has been an error (which there hasnot). I don't know if my payment has gone through so cannot try again. Oh for the days when you could just ring. I have also tried this but had to hold on for over 5 minutes listening for a voice to tell me how busy they were and couldn't answer my call. Absolute rubbish service
Horrible staff, spoilt our night. Never go there, very cheap cinema. If you want quality, polite staff go to Gunwharf vue .Never ever Odeon Port Solent disgusting.....
Daylight robbery over £9 for a standard ticket without 3D. Then if you want a drink or something to eat you best get ready to remortage your home. For me that's the biggest slap in the face admission is expensive but your food and drink prices are criminal.
