Well we started off the day high energy, to finish of with nice dry warm snuggles when the weather turned wet and miserable ☔🤗

Rainy days don’t beat us 😈

We cater for all dogs here from the tiny to the extra large, from the very young to the very old, from the very hairy to the bald! We make sure that each and every one have the best holiday that they can possibly have whether they want to run around and play all day or if they just want to put their paws up and relax. We just love them all, each and every one ❤️

Smarten up for winter walks with our Earthbound and Hunter collar and lead ranges 🐕 Our Reception Shop is open 7 days a week

Wow what a busy Friday we have had, lots of lovely pets on their holidays to look after 🐕🐈🐇 Here are a few pictures from today 😍

A notice to all clients concerned about the Velo South Cycle Event planned Sunday 23rd September. Due to recent bad weather the event is now cancelled. We had planned a post to give details of PREVIOUSLY proposed road diversions and closures to help with your travel
But NOW THE EVENT IS CANCELLED

We used Old Clayton kennels for the first time and we were over the moon with the care Charlie received. I was very apprehensive dropping him off as he is only seven months, but the photos that we saw on both the Facebook page and the video on the daycare page put our minds at ease- in both he looked happy. We shall definitely use these kennels in the future. Thanks guys.

We haven’t had a proper holiday in the five years since we got our two large socially awkward dogs and have never tried kennelling them before thinking that the proximity of so many other dogs would overly stress them. First we tried an overnight stay which went well and then took the plunge for a nine day stay. It was great. The staff really got our boys measures and managed them excellently. They came back very happy, stress-free, looking good and no less bouncy than usual. Thank you Old Clayton! We can now consider taking other holidays knowing how well looked after they will be.

Thank you so much for looking after Tiki wu. She had never been in kennels before and you made it so easy for her and me! Updating me with pictures was a lovely touch. Thank you all for being so kind and caring and adapting to Tiki's needs. �

Sam our golden retriever loves it at Old Clayton and loves Cat who has been amazing with him since he was a puppy. We know he has had the best Christmas with you guys and he has been thoroughly spoilt. I cannot recommend and praise these kennels enough. Thank you to everyone.

Our two dogs and two rabbits have just returned from a two week stay at Old Clayton and have come home happy, well cared for animals, looking in great condition. I coupled their stay with a 10 day play package for Henry and Milo over at Barking Success Daycare, as they are used to going there at least once a week anyway and, as they are only just coming up to 18 months old, I knew they would benefit from the extra opportunity to burn off some energy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Big thanks to everyone at both Old Clayton and Barking Success for all the love, fuss and care you gave to Henry and Milo and Bertie and Penelope Bunnies whilst they were with you ����

Our Springer Spaniel recently spent two weeks with Old Clayton and we have used them previously. We will use them again.



On arrival Logan’s welcome is very enthusiastic from the great staff. He runs of happily with them. The occasional photos on the FB page are a welcome reassurance that he is having a great time.



On collection he always looks well and happy.



Would definitely recommend Old Clayton.

Mylo stayed for 2 nights and loved it! He was exhausted when he came home but was as happy as ever! Great to see lovely pics of him having fun too on fb!! He’ll be back for sure! Highly recommend. ���

My very naughty beagle had the best time staying here at the last minute. The staff were absolutely fantastic the service we received and that’s Archie got was amazing. I would definitely recommend here. I would love Archie to stay here again if they will have the naughtiest beagle ever

My two dogs have just stayed at old Clayton for 8 nights whilst we were on holiday and after a bad experience with a doggy house sitter we were very nervous about leaving them again but the staff here were bloody fantastic!!! They understood our concerns and put our minds at rest. We picked up two happy dogs yesterday so for that we cannot thank you enough. Our dogs clearly loved the staff which is the best feeling. We will 100% be booking Bruce and Boris in for their next holiday with you. Thanks again

Mango's tenth year at Old Clayton and as always picked her up today all bouncy and pleased to see me but clearly a happy dog having spent time with familiar faces. Thank you!

Lucky absolutely loves it, we go through the gate the tail starts the staff are amazing would never leave him anywhere else ���

Just picked up our 2 dogs after 8 days away they were so happy and looked like they had really enjoyed it. Staff were really helpful and accommodating could not recommend more.

Just collected my Gordon Setter who had a stay and was do pleased to see how happy he was and in brilliant condition. Thanks again for looking after him. Have been using Old Clayton for our previous dog so for over 13 years and the standard is still brilliant.

I was very skeptical about leaving my dog Frankie at a kennels as he had never been before and also had to celebrate his 6th birthday on his stay, but I really can't fault Old Clayton Kennels. I received birthday photos of Frankie enjoying a birthday treat and he looked very happy there!

They definitely care about making the dogs stay comfortable and fun.

One happy boy was returned to me, and I just knew he was very well looked after �

I used the Clayton kennels when I had my now departed Westie Jack some years ago. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Having adopted two rescue dogs in the past from Old Clayton, they were the natural choice when we had to leave our very timid rescue Greekie for a week. They were so patient (with me...) and really understanding and accommodating of Ralf's needs. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Can't recommend the team at Old Clayton enough ... Cat and everyone there are really kind and professional and make going away and leaving my dog that bit easier .. I used to ring every day and check he was ok, but now I know he's always fine and well looked after whilst in there care .. If you are looking for a well run company with nice people who care this is the place to go . �
