Great to see The Slough Observer cover our brand new nursery. This now means we can accommodate 24 additional part time funded places for two year olds in the borough.

The Olive Tree Montessori and Slough Borough Council (SBC) are celebrating the completion of the extension and refurbishment of the nursery.
The nursery can now accommodate more children with this expansion in our self contained unit, which includes children’s toilets.
As a commitment to the children's learning and development, the nursery also self funded brand new furniture and resources from Community Playthings UK.
... It was great to see the Head of Early Years (SBC) Micheal Jarrett and Councillor Shabnum Sadiq, Cabinet Member for Children & Education visiting the new improved setting and spending time with the children.

... This Eid Family Fun Day is organised by the Al Zohra Trust and will have a range of stalls and fun activities for the whole family.
For parents who want to take up free 30 hours childcare, we can support you through the application on the day.
Please Note:
HMRC has advised that parents must register for a 30 hours place for their child before the end of August 2018 to get an eligibility code before the start of the summer term.

Projects planned in Slough by Khidma SYF Shazad Yaseen Foundation 10th Slough SCS Scouts Knit Your Socks Off Aamna Ahmed - Our Kitchen Rules Sabeena Akram - Paving The Way.
Litter picking.... Feeding the homeless. Bulb planting and gardening. Refreshments to passers by in the town centre. Arts, crafts and card making at the mosque 'Knit Your Socks Off' community knitting session. Lunch for the elderly. Visiting a care home.

Nursery Manager Job Slough
All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS (previously CRB) check and references. The Olive Tree Montessori is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
We are looking for a highly motivated person, with Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)/Early Years Professional Status (EYP), and at least 2 years experience of managing a busy setting.
