Founded in 1980, Owen Developments started as a precision engineering company specialising in high performance motor vehicle parts for racing and the road. Turbocharger re-manufacturing has been a mainstay of Owen Developments’ activity for nearly four decades. The precision refurbishment facilities allow the economic retention of key structural turbocharger components, offering a second life for units that are assembled to OEM standards.
The combination of experienced staff, sector leading machinery, advanced dynamic turbo balancing and quality control equipment has led to sole turbocharger supplier status in prestigious race series such as: FIA F2, British Touring Car Championship, MINI Challenge, Indy Lights, and China Touring Car Championship. Unique specification and turbo production can be made to suit a wide range of requirements. This includes fast road upgrades; to high specification turbos for motorsport or racing.
In addition to the core turbo activities, Owen Developments runs a thriving Motorsport Division with a high-tech four-wheel drive rolling road dyno and full engine build facilities.
With the firm’s formidable experience with cutting edge motorsport engine management systems, the Motorsport Division offers a full portfolio of circuit race, drag race and rally car preparation services, plus full track-side support if required.

We have worked alongside filter manufacturer Pipercross Air Filters to develop a bespoke filter to work with our #GBTTurbos. Our #ODAirFilters consists of a stainless steel wire mesh which not only gives extra strength but is less restrictive compared to other mesh types. In addition to this, our OD filters have an internal radial neck which optimizes the air flow which means the #ODFilters are one of the most free flowing filters available on the market.
We used #Pipercross’...s state of the art flow bench to develop our filters to ensure that we offer the most compatible filters with our own GBT turbos. We currently offer the OD filters with either a 75mm or 100mm neck with a choice of cone or straight walled style.
Our OD filters are only available to purchase through us or any of our Authorised GBT Performance Dealers - free Murray clamp with every air filter included.

They then fitted some parts, done some wiring and mapped the car thats also running one of thaire own roller bearing turbo, great job, really pleased with the service and the high standard of work!!! Will be returning soon for some more modification recomended by them.
