Busy wkend for the team at Cadwell Park for the penultimate rounds of the Dunlop mini Miglia championship
Two strong finishes for Alfie in mixed conditions , a Dnf for Rob Howard with battery failure who could only race the Saturday due to work commitments on the Sunday .
We did a full suspension setup for Darren Moon after his brands crash and a big well done to Justin cooper who we have been helping develop his immaculate Libre carвАЩs handling , he ended up coming from th...e back of the grid in race 2 to win the libre race !

Race weekend prep on AlfieвАЩs Miglia before Jac goes back to school ! We are off to Cadwell Park for the next round of the Dunlop Mini Miglia championship this weekend . Alfie lies 4th in the standings with Ron Howard in 8th with only 4 races left to go .

We have just acquired the ex Phil Manser Mini Miglia / championship winning mini 7 . When I started Miglia racing 20 years ago Phil was one of my closest competitors who was great to race with . Back to work today after a busy weekend at the Brands Hatch mini festival , great entry for the MigliaвАЩs and sevens and some great racing , big crash in the first mig race ending the race for many drivers , Rob Howard got collected and a damaged steering rack and rad ended meant he couldnвАЩt continue рЯШҐ Alfie Brown had a great race with the front pack and ended a great 5th place Race two and the heavens opened just as we were called to assembly area , a great drive by Alfie to... net a 4th place and another great drive by Ron Howard from the back of the grid to finish 8th A huge congratulations to Dan Budd and the whole Budd team for his first win in the mini seven championship with a brand new car which only left out workshop a few weeks earlier as a bare -unpainted shell ! Last weekend was the Silverstone round of the 750 club enduro championship where Mark Harris was back out in his ep3 type r . He was teamed up with racing newbie Ronald Howard who had no problem with track limits рЯШЙ They were making good progess in the race when a gearbox problem towards the end of the race put them out . Next round is at snett in a months time .

Dan BuddвАЩs new mini seven which only left our workshop 9 Days ago as a bare fabricated - unpainted shell Is almost ready for its shakedown ! Few last bits to drop off tomorrow and they should be on track for brands ! This has been a huge push by everyone involved and what an effort by the whole Budd - real mini company to get to this stage . Various work done over the last week ! Parts being fitted to WoodyвАЩs new appendix k Cooper s , KevinвАЩs Cooper s now a bare shell and ready to go to fab shop for full restoration . A few new race car builds on the go to become a mini seven , a libre and a 1275 GT racer And we finished the week off having a test day at Pembrey With DazвАЩs civic type r . Lots of time gained during his 100 laps ! Almost 5 seconds gained and was flying by end of the day ! If you need any driver development or instructing ask Daz Hockly рЯСН

Time to crack on with a new Mini 7 S class build for Ben Butler , shell to be restored first before it gets bolted to the jig and the cage and fab work starts .
