DONATION REQUEST: do you have any children's books for donation?
We'd love to have them if you do. As you can see, we have a large popular children's books section and our stock is running low.

Getting married this year?
We have some great DIY wedding items and a craft section to get what you need for less.

Did you know Wokingham used to have a brewery? It closed in 1928 and would have used stoneware beer bottles like these.
Whilst not from Wokingham, we have these other local stoneware beer bottles, starting at £3.99.

We've stocked up with toys, games, and childrens books! Lego, Playmobile, board games, Happyland, puzzles. Our toys start at 99p.

Plastic-free greetings cards!
We have a wide range of greetings cards, many of them plastic free as Oxfam reduces its plastic use!
Our Cath Tate cards are especially good for those people you can never find a card for (my dad and brother especially!). Here are some of my favourite ones.

(EDIT: I had the price wrong, sorry folks!) Cath Kidston fans! I love these tea cups. Like new condition. £30 for all cups, saucers and plates!
Perhaps they'd make a lovely gift for valentines day, or for a DIY wedding ;)

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: Alan
What is your role at Oxfam? My role is Head of Electronics and Cake Tester. I joined in 2004 and am responsible for PAT and function testing the electrical donations that come in.
... Why do you volunteer for @oxfamwokingham? I'm retired and wish to do something useful with my spare time. I chose Oxfam because I think they do some genuine good.
What is the best charity shop purchase? A Sony mini hi-fi, which is still going strong!
What has been your funniest/most unusual time at Oxfam? Perhaps not funny but when I'm testing touch lamps, they get me each time - as I pick them up to put them out for not working, they switch on! I should know better as I have a touch lamp at home.

Too big to wrap, Father Christmas had to leave our Scalextric down the back of the sofa ;). We've checked behind the sofa every year since.
