Park Farm Caravan & Campsite

About Park Farm Caravan & Campsite

Situated in the heart of the Sussex countryside, in an idyllic setting on 18 acres surrounded by our own farmland and adjoining the River Rother.

Park Farm Caravan & Campsite Description

At Park Farm we aim to deliver a more relaxed camping experience - for that reason we don't allocate people to pitches, we allow you to choose your own space across one of our 5 fields. Along with our relaxed atmosphere we have lots of space for field games, free fishing on the River Rother, miles of walks and footpaths and your own campfire at the end of the day! Park Farm also has a permanent catering trailer, serving quality locally sourced produce and hot and cold drinks. There is also a shop on site selling all the essentials needed for camping. We look forward to seeing you soon!

User

What an amazing campsite with beautiful views. Lovely people in charge. Would highly recommend.

User

We had a booking for the complete top field this weekend. The staff and facilities were all fantastic. Thanks you Park Farm and see you next year.

User

Stayed six nights, returning yesterday. We were a big group as it was our family, my brother-in-law's family plus some friends. The great thing about this site is that the kids love it and we feel they are safe without having to watch them every minute. Jackie Green and the rest of the staff were helpful and friendly. I would recommend Park Farm to anyone. See you next year!

User

Stayed at the campsite for the night for the first time over the weekend, it was so relaxed we didn't leave until about 3 on the Sunday and what a lovely view we had to..... But also although very generous we went by the river then once we went back to our text there was a bottle of prosecco inbetween our camping chairs, layed out like a gift but have no clue who it was from so wondering if anyone on here has any idea? Also will definitely be coming back in August with my daughter to and also loved the fact that the campsite was also kept clean with someone coming round to pick up the rubbish and also the toilets were also cleaned regularly to

User

Just spent a lovely weekend here with my family we had three pitches close together. The grandchildren loved it being able to play freely. The log fires are awesome and made the evenings special.....Given the number of campers on site the entire place was kept clean and tidy and maybe there was a wait for showers at times but that's quite common on lots of campsites. We'll definitely be back..............

User

Just got back from weekend and loved this campsite for lots of reasons such a laid back site no silly rules ,very child friendly ,stuff great wanted to stay longer only downside was needed more water taps near electric hook up but can’t wait to get back here

User

Home after a wonderful couple of days camping at this fantastic camp site. Staff were so helpful and the facilities were clean and hygienic. It's difficult to find places that cater to young families with pets but this place hits the nail on the head. Will definitely be back again.

User

Had a wonderful one night stay at park farm ... was reasonably busy even tho not peak season but found a pitch easy enough ... loved having the camp fire in the evening . Facilities were very clean although I’m not sure if there is enough to cope in the summer when it is very busy ... staff very hard working will go back for short breaks !

User

Had a fantastic week. The campsite & facilities were really clean, the team were constantly working hard to keep it that way.

The on-site food facilities were great & nothing was too much trouble.

Thanks for a great holiday!

User

Great site, great facilities, no distance to coast or enjoy the surrounding countryside with lots to see and do. Relaxed and family friendly.

User

First time here and I'll be going back! It's what you make of it and regarding the facilities, yes they could do with more for the size of the site but No issues getting a shower during the day.

Having real fires is awesome and they even bring logs round on a tractor to buy.

Loved it

User

Fantastic bank holiday weekend. A lovely atmosphere on the site. Yes the facilities were fairly basic but they were regularly cleaned. We enjoyed the walk along the river to Bodiam Castle and a trip on the steam train.

User

By far the best campsite I have stayed at. All the family and friends loved it. Facilities were great especially the new shower cubicles. Having the ability to light your own fire is something a little special. There is also a lovely river adjacent to the site and you can follow it all the way to bodiam castle. We will be back next year

User

Brilliant campsite , lots to do with the kids and very clean facilities. I like the way you can go wherever you like and pitch up and the prices are very reasonable

User

Just had a lovely weekend camping with my hubby and 2 little ones. Plenty of space for the kids to run around and the play park too. Nice big pitch (electric) and close to the showers/toilet etc. The little shop wagon was a god send as they sold pretty much anything including ice cream which we needed as it about 30 degrees . Friendly staff. The cleaners worked very hard to keep the amenities clean but it is a very large site and was very busy. Only thing that stopped me putting 5 stars was that there was still a lot of groups playing music past 11pm more like midnight but my kids are heavy sleepers so didn’t bother me too much. We will definitely be back again soon!

User

4.5 stars, Absolutely brilliant camp site for the family. The park, was fantastic and the onsite facilities were great. Proper toilets, shower facilities & wash rooms! Cleaners constantly in and out keeping on top of the hundreds of campers. I found the site to be clean under the circumstances. Staff were very helpful and great enviroment for kids! The only negative, which some may percieve as a positive and the reason I docked half a star is that there is absolutely no signal, which I found frustrating, as nobody could get hold of us in an emergency. Other than that, absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to come back! x

User

We had a lovely time camping with friends. I was tempted to give 4 stars but found that the staff were a bit rude a few times. Once on the phone and once when we were there. However, aside from that we had a great time and the facilities were always clean which was amazing given how many people were camping there. Shower pressure wasn’t great, but it’s camping after allZ Kiosk always had a big queue but guess that was largely down to the really hot weather we had. Great campsite for a group.

User

I have just returned from two nights at this campsite. We were staying as a group with other families.

The positives -

-Lovely how we were able to camp as a group and camp together meaning lots of time together. (2 of us had electric pitches and 3 didn’t.)

- lots of open space for the children which they loved.

- well set back from the road meaning no road noise and felt that the children were safe.

- been able to have an open fire and logs which came round on a van & delivered to your tent.

- a tractor came round in the morning and collected your rubbish which was handy and a small shop which sold ice creams.

- no Wi-fi or signal! Bliss!

Negatives

- there was sick and lots of rubbish on our pitch when we arrived. A member of staff did come and cover up the sick when asked but a shame this wasn’t checked before we arrived especially as we had been told that the pitch was empty the night before so plenty of time to check it.

- the first night was awful with noise which went on till 3am. Told security was on site but they can’t have been walking round.

- not enough facilities -showers/toilets/washing up for such a large site.

- showers had very little hot water, no pressure and were very dirty so much that even my 7& 8 year old didn’t want to use them .

A real shame as unfortunately the latter means we would not return.

User

myself and my family have just spent a few nights and unfortunately will not be going back. I got to the kiosk and stood there for a minute or so whilst both the women ignored me as they were on their phones and a laptop - no acknowledgement, or 'I'll be with you in a second'. the short haired lady was incredibly rude, she has 0 customer service skills at all.

one of the male residents on the site attacked our dog and verbally abused my sister and 16 year old niece, leaving them both in tears, for the women at the kiosk to say the male is always like this. he was an absolutely vile man and we wouldnt wish him treating anyone the way he did us. as returning customers for many years we are sad that we won't be back but we are not paying to have an awful service, atmosphere and time.
