I have combined my passion for Classic Cars with Photography.
I do volunteer work at Brooklands Museum helping to look after the "Motoring Village".
"Brooklands" was the Worlds first PURPOSE BUILT racetrack for the then, "new and noisy smelly new fangled machines, first open and raced on from 1907.
This has REAL significant benefits for my photography of Classic Cars as there is ALWAYS something going on, some connection with the Museum, and of course, the very special cars that are a part of the Museum exhibits.
When possible, I will attend Classic Car events, such as the "Goodwood Revival" meeting and enjoy photographing the cars probably as much (if not more) as I do seeing them out and about and being used and raced.
Reviews
An "Anything American" day at Brooklands. When you have seen one car, you have seen them all !!!!!!!!!!!! Well, OK, NOT QUITE, but I am getting a bit fed up photographing cars and just posting them as normal, SO........ I have decided to have some fun with my photography, and I am "processing" them in the way I would in a Darkroom for printing. :-)

I don't have many photographs from this event, The Goodwood Revival in 2005 as I was actually working in the AC workshop, demonstrating to people how the aluminium bodywork of the AC cars were hand made using an English wheel. (I was in the area just before that Shell petrol pump) These were shot on B+W film, and I had to skip out during my lunch to get these few.... The first 2 photographs I have toned, but the last one, of the Spitfire and crew I have left as a simple B+W print as toning it lost a great amount of detail especially with the crew sitting by the aircraft.
