About Pickels Farm
Pickels Farm is a family run business, specialising in rearing and supplying to the public. . . . . Rare breed pork, Jacobs lamb and Venison, all from our farm shop In Princes Risborough.
Pickels Farm Description
Our animals are happy, well cared for and loved, they all live a longer than average life and we believe this is proven in our products because of the slow maturing process we allow our animals to have.
We provide rare breed Pork, typically from the Berkshire pig (Brilliant crackling) or British Middle White (Lovely joints) in all the various cuts available.
Lamb is from our own Jacobs lambs and sometimes suffolk herd and the Venison is either from our herd or locally shot and supplied.
Our products are all vacuum wrapped and all displayed in our farm shop open 4 days a week.

The joys of spring-How cute!!
Open today until 1pm!! Open Saturday as usual 9.30-1pm.
A few little surprises this morning; not due until Sunday but 2 sets of twins and two singles must have been born in the early hours! All healthy and happy!

The girls felt a bit lonely so this handsome boy has joined the crowd.....he's that flash he came with his own pair of socks!!
I've had a couple of customers stating that they struggle to get venison from local suppliers/butchers!! Well look no more and pass the word around that we stock diced and venison steaks weekly. A lovely lean meat, easy to cook with fantastic flavour!

The venison salami with green peppercorns is simply stunning and very more-ish!!
Sorry it's taken So long to get back on here, but.....We're here, we're still open and they'll be plenty of posts, videos and pictures to catch up on!
Look closely at the bundle of tape under the table and you'll notice something moving!! We seem to have adopted a ginger moggy...... 1) better find out who it belongs to! 2) no wonder I haven't seen any mice for a long time!

An unexpected surprise this morning- No wonder she didn't come out for food!!
Skippy was certainly content sitting in the grass having his photo taken!
A new haircut for Henry & Moshie.....just a pity the warm weather ends when they lose their coats! They were too hot and probably cursing now they're too cold, ha ha!
