Well Maria Ge it certainly was not the case when we visited yesterday for the first time with family from Glossop who visit often.

The staff(and plenty of them) were very friendly and helpful and the food was to die for.

I also liked the whole decor and 'feel' of the place too and wil definitely be going again 😄😄

We love the pico lounge. Relaxed environment warm friendly staff and great food. Recommend the lounge breakfast x

Really enjoy the Tapas Tuesday! Great food and great value for money! We also enjoy coming in for breakfast whilst on the morning walk with the pooches!

One word...soup! Tastiest soups ever and my husband is addicted to the steak frites. Plus it's the nicest coffee in Glossop,which is why we often go just for a brew. We've taken family and friends for various occasions and definitely recommend Pico �

Me and my friend visited Pico lounge yesterday for tapas! Aw it was beautiful ! £9.99 for 3 tapas dishes and a small glass of house wine! (Tuesdays only) Very good value and delicious too! Highly recommend. You get a basket of bread too! I ordered a side dish of fries with cheese but I couldn't manage it. The red onion nuts are delicious as an appitiser too. 10/10

Love the quirky decor and the food and service was fantastic. My favourite thing however is how inclusive it is- games for kids and being dog friendly is a great touch too. Definitely coming again

I went for some tapas and wine and really enjoyed the food and ambiance. The staff was amazing. Fantastic customer service. .they really made up to me for the fact that the food took a bit longer than expected to arrive. Great staff and good food. I will be coming again whilst in Glossop

I absolutely love the pico lounge � it’s somewhere I can bring my mum who is coeliac and therefore requires gluten free meals, she loves the extensive gf menu and appreciates the effort the staff go to to ensure her food is prepared correctly ��� she says that having a proper full gf menu on the table makes a big difference to her xx thanks guys xx

Great Breakfast and the best Flat White since I’ve been in the UK. Staff are great too.

Amazing group of young guys helping with birthday cake and welcoming us. Thoroughly enjoyed the night. A big tgank you to them from table 37 with the big order. ��

What a place, absolutely incredible decor, great Red wine and friendly staff. The two relatively minor issues quantified dropping a star were a) no red wine glasses!?! To truly appreciate the small yet spectacular selections an appropriate glass should be available, it felt a bit lazy which is not in keeping with the rest of the amazing value and b) table clearance, we had finished our meal, frequented the outside area for a cigarette and returned yet the table still hadn't been cleared, it was not busy by this point (circa 530pm) and one member of staff was sat at the bench on their phone, really disappointing, I'm all for the Working Time Directive and adequate breaks but time/place/need. One thing that was truly outstanding, something most 5* venues in Manchester can't achieve, the poached eggs, they were perfect! If the setup had been different and made traditionally tipping accessible or if I hadn't had to clear my own table so interacted with a team member, this chef would have been given the compliments and tips directly. Will certainly be returning.

Smashing bacon butty for lunch, friendly staff, nice atmosphere great place to eat

Had a post holiday meal here yest. After a slight problem with my meal although I ate it all. The manager asked if everything was ok, I mentioned my prob he was so apologetic for slight prob, he welcomed the feedback to improve and I got a free drink x

Had a lovely coffee in a relaxing environment. Was able to take my puppy in and was given a bowl of water and a bowl of treats. What could be better☕️😀🐶🐾 I haven’t eaten there yet, so can’t comment on the food. The service was good, the coffee was hot and strong and the staff were attentive.

We went for food , the wait was 1 hour 20mins and when it arrived it wasn’t that nice . Had a bottle of rose wine , so overpriced when you have a Wetherspoons so close , not really in a hurry to return

We ordered a chicken Breast burger when arrived the chicken Breast was roughly half the size I would usually expect. The sweet potato fries amounted to roughly half of a sweet potato. The bacon was tough and hardly edable. Once confronted the waiter was rude and very unprofessional, I said thankyou after paying and got nothing in return.. Very very poor and will not be returning again. Over priced poor food with terrible customer service.

Poor, not up to its usual standard. Firstly my partner wanted pancakes but they had none left on a Sunday morning, secondly they had no early grey tea either, how this is possible with a marks and Spencers opposite is beyond me, seriously just go across the car park and pick some up. The waiters ideas of cleaning the table leaves alot to be desired, he swept all the beans off the table onto the floor in front of us and just left it in the floor. Very disappointing for a restaurant that usually meets such high standards, the floor was filthy, I'm not sure I'll go back here again. What a disappointment.
