Die Walkure (Royal Opera Live) - is showing live to screen on Sunday 28th October.
WagnerŌĆÖs Ring cycle is one of the greatest works of all opera. Keith WarnerŌĆÖs production is conducted by Antonio Pappano, Music Director of The Royal Opera, and this final revival is cast with an outstanding international array of Wagnerian specialist singers. The full cycleŌĆÖs four operas journey from the beginning of a world to its destruction, with gods, heroes and monsters. This epic myth p...ortrays every type of human emotion in music and ideas of extraordinary power.
Die Walk├╝re (The Valkyrie) is the second opera in the cycle, and features several of the RingŌĆÖs musical highlights ŌĆō the sparkling Magic Fire Music and the electrifying Ride of the Valkyries.
But among the musical fireworks and Norse mythology, at the centre of this opera are the unforgettable characters and the complex entanglements between them, including twins Siegmund and Sieglinde, and Wotan and his Valkyrie daughter, Br├╝nnhilde.

Went to see Mamma Mia loved it and although prices have gone up by a pound still nice and cheap! Well done picturdrone ’┐Į

User

The Picturedrome Cinema in Bognor is very friendly, convenient and great value for money. You also have plenty of leg room and unobscured viewing. Prefer going there than to the big cinemas ’┐Į

User

So glad we found the Picturedrome having moved down to the area. Staff are always polite and the price of admission is fantastic. Certainly my first go to place when thinking about a cinema trip.

User

Since the 1970s I have always loved going to the picturedrome in Bognor. So much character! Great to see it full most visits and to think we nearly lost it! Great job, keep it up!

User

Perfect local cinema ¤æŹ¤Å╗ I love the fact the building has a bit of history. Affordable tickets and food prices make it a winner ŌŁÉ’ĖÅŌŁÉ’ĖÅŌŁÉ’ĖÅŌŁÉ’ĖÅŌŁÉ’ĖÅ¤Äź¤æī¤Å ╗¤æŹ¤Å╗¤śĆ

User

Lovely afternoon watching the Andre Rieu concert on Sunday made even better as we used the Picturedrome tokens that were a Christmas present, a lovely idea.

User

Last night was our first visit and we absolutely loved it.. we'll definitely be back.. we usually go to Worthing dome which we also love, but the film timings were better for us on this occasion. I've been singing your praises to everyone all day :)

User

I love this place. Great value for money and love the art deco feel. Plenty of leg room and comfy seats. Always try and visit when IŌĆÖm in Bognor.

User

I love the Picturedrome. Amazing value for money. My only grump is the ticket system but I understand it is being upgraded when the new screen is put in so you don't have to queue for tickets when you already have a booking.

The staff are friendly and helpful and I love the architecture.

User

I am not small and to find comfortable seats with loads of leg room was wonderful. Good sound and easy to book on line oh and tickets during the week are just ┬Ż2.50 a fifth of the cost of the big cinemas.

User

Great friendly and helpful staff. Me and my son watched a feature film for less than a box of popcorn in London cinema's. Small rooms but this is an advantage in my eyes. Excellent!

User

Beautiful old cinema, with fabulous staff and facilities. Fabulous local secret that we all adore. Scrummy popcorn, lovely staff and it wonŌĆÖt cost you the earth. WhatŌĆÖs not to love?

User

Always rave about this place. How lucky are we to have such an historic cinema in our town thatŌĆÖs affordable. Has a great vibe, one you donŌĆÖt get in the big chain cinemas. Love it!

User

A great local Cinema full of character. Welcoming staff and spacious seating. Excellent value for money!

User

The Picturedrome is a great asset for Bognor, however went to see Mamma Mia last night, it was unbearably hot in the cinema with many people fanning themselves. I felt quite agitated with the heat so didnŌĆÖt enjoy the film as much as I could have done in fact one couple walked out. Maybe this needs looking into for the future.

User

IŌĆÖve fallen in love with the Picturedrome again! IŌĆÖve been twice in a week, the staff are lovely and friendly. The booking system is fab. My only gripe is that one of the staff members was a little patronising last night, when I asked if the points could be added from the booking IŌĆÖd made before I got my loyalty card. She said that it wasnŌĆÖt possible and the staff member last week should have done it. I felt a little bit silly ....... but hey first world problems ’┐Į

User

It's great to take kids too as so cheap but food is still expensive.

User

A good mid week bargin at ┬Ż5 for 2 seats. Local enough that we were able to walk. A nice film in on the number 2 screen. One downfall at the begining of the film the fie exit door kept opening. A good film. The seats were fairly comfortable for what I expected.
