Advice from The Times this morning. Classes are still running people but I am limiting numbers to ensure we can stay 2m apart. I have antibacterial wipes for mats and payment can be done via bank transfer so we avoid cash. I think we could all do with a few more endorphins right now and if it improves your immunity at the same time = win/win! Please message me to book 😊. Finding it difficult to cling on to your new fitness regime? The key thing is that you enjoy what you’re doing otherwise it will be an uphill struggle to be consistent. Whilst I can’t guarantee you’ll love every single exercise in my classes, I can promise you I do a great line in distraction in the form of cheesy pop music. It’s easy to lose sight of the important aspects of being active. Ensuring our joints can move in all planes of movement under load is one of them. We so very often focus on cardio training which, in the main, is in one plane of movement and loads the joints in a very limited range. To stay strong and injury free as we age we need resistance training for the entire body (which also has the added bonus of improving posture and toning muscles). To counter balance those “gym” visits, we’re back again tomorrow at 10.30am at Groombridge Village Hall. 10 minutes of stretching, 10 minutes working on glutes, 30 minute full body workout, 5 minutes of pure tummy work and 5 minutes of relaxation and smugness.
