We took our daughter and friends for her birthday party. She had a fabulous time . She and her Friends enjoyed every minute of it. And Debbie made us more than welcome we can definitely recommend the pineapple palace cafe..

Thank you Leigh for providing us with the most amazing afternoon tea to celebrate Sarah`s 40th. Everybody really enjoyed themselves and thank you for all your hard work and for looking after us all so well. We will return and I was pleased to see that a lot of our friends found themselves having a little retail therapy too.!

Such a hidden gem! They are always so lovely, and the afternoon tea is SO DELICIOUS! Beautiful sat by the river. �

Really enjoy mooching around this lovely place, and enjoying lunch or just a cuppa and a slice of incredibly moorish homemade cake! The Lodge is also such a special place for the many types of art courses that take place throughout the year. Very blessed to have this on our doorstep!

My daughter arranged afternoon tea for me in this amazing little place everything was made to a very high standard, thank you soo much xx

Just had a fantastic "Christmas" Afternoon Tea - gorgeous good, lovely atmosphere - what an amazing place! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon - definitely best place for afternoon tea!

I visited the Christmas Market this weekend (26 November 2016) and it was magical. So many beautiful handmade gifts and Christmas decorations. I even found a gorgeous bedside table that i had been searching for for some time! The staff, creators, artists, sculptures and ceramicists are all lovely. Happy to share their knowledge, it was great to meet them @sophiewaiteceramics and

I took my goddaughter here for afternoon tea last Saturday and we had a great time. Friendly service, lots of delicious food and many cups of tea. I have dietary requirements and avoid both dairy and gluten. Leigh came up trumps with homemade cakes and scones (and not the fall back of fruit) - putting many larger establishments to shame. Look forward to visiting again! Many thanks.

I attended Lucy’s furniture painting workshop a few weeks ago and would highly recommend it. I now feel confident enough to start my own furniture painting project.

Enjoyed a relaxing afternoon tea here with 2 friends last week; friendly service, good selection of sandwiches,scones and cakes (we had to admit defeat and take some home with us) and endless cups of tea! Will be visiting again.

A lovely unique gem by the river. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner and the cafe had perfect vintage china which makes all the difference too. The homemade cakes were lush and my husband had to drag me away. Shop attached was lovely too. Cannot wait to return. Thank you for a welcoming reception. X

My first visit and I thought this was a charming place with some gorgeous unique pieces there, my only negative remark would be that I was given my tea in a takeaway cup for the cafe where I would have liked a nice chintzy teacup, other than that loved the place!

Knowing quite a few of my friends have visited this place, I had to go and see for myself. A very lovely atmosphere and friendly staff and the food was worth every penny. My son was the first to try the milkshakes and he'll be back for more. Only now need to try out the afternoon tea. I could have spent longer looking through the shop, but this would have to be done without kids.
