The shop specialises in Winnie-the-Pooh and is home to the world's largest selection of "Pooh-phernalia". Husband and wife team, Mike and June Ridley run the family business together with the help of a dedicated team of staff. Mike created the Pooh Corner shop in 1978 and met Christopher Robin Milne on a number of occasions.
If you have time for ‘A Little Something' you will find inside Pooh Corner the PIGLIT'S Tea Room and Garden where you can enjoy a ‘Smackeral' or two; with delicious cream-teas, cakes, savoury snacks, fruit juices, coffee and teas.
Pooh Corner gives information about the real Winnie-the-Pooh locations and the famous Poohsticks Bridge. You will need to discover all the Pooh Places after you arrive in Hartfield so remember to buy a Guide Sheet or a fully illustrated Guide Booklet.

The sun is out, the sky is blue!
Which one do you feel like today...Pooh floating up on a balloon or Eeyore floating downstream?

“It really is the perfect day for an adventure” said Pooh
“It certainly is” said Piglet

Pooh and Piglet were a little scared of the men/women and their machines but soon got into the spirit of cheering on the East Grinstead Triathlon Club as their event went through the village! Before long they were also cheering on the walkers helping raise money for the Parkinson’s charity as they walked the 100 Acre Wood!

Owl has just popped in to make the tea and coffee today here at Pooh Corner. He’ll be hanging around from now on as this is a beautiful piece of original animation from Disney.

We've found a lovely painted rock in our tea garden!
Asked to post on East Sussex Rocks which we will do later today...but shall we keep the rock or re-hide it?

Pooh is celebrating the birth of baby Archie by leaving the 100 Acre Wood. Congratulations Harry and Meghan, from a small corner of East Sussex!

Some people may remember him from Alien, 1984, early Harry Potter, Indiana Jones...the list goes on, but the late great John Hurt also did the narration for the Tigger Movie, and this just arrived for our museum. A copy of the movie on DVD signed by John Hurt CBE himself.
This will be on display in our Poohseum later in the year!

We're open today, as is the whole of the 100 acre wood, the Village Store and The Anchor Inn - so why not visit #Hartfield and fall in love with the village like we all have in our first 12 weeks of being residents.

It's a lovely day for a walk to Pooh Bridge..especially visiting Eeyore's, Piglet's and Owl's house on the way!

Little Piglet is finding his inner strength today (May the 4th be with you) as DarthVader - but he’s not quite ready to join the dark side as the sunshine is just too lovely!!

User

It's a little grey outside...time for a nap...zzz

There's nothing better in the afternoon than a cream tea...

Here's a wonderful photo from the very talented local photographer Daniel York Photography who took this stunning picture of the aftermath of the fire on Sunday night. We love your work Daniel and thank you for allowing us to share your work with so many who love the area!

Thanks for all the messages of concern this morning. For those unaware, the forest was again on fire last night and this time it was sadly part of the larger 100 Acre Wood. Just across from Gills Lap (Galleons Leap in the Books) is the stunning views of ‘Kings Standing’ the site where our royalty once had their Hunting Tower for hunting the Boar on the forest.
As we monitored the tweets last night the realisation hit us that we rely so much on the emergency services to ensur...e our business can stay open to help educate and play a part in promoting these wonderful ‘Pooh’ landmarks. We also witnessed a dim glow on the horizon from the top windows of Pooh Corner and understood it was a sign of the potential danger (it’s a genuinely sickening feeling no matter how close or far the fire is), it showed us how important it is to make sure everybody who visits respects the land as it can too easily can disappear in flames in just a matter of minutes 😞
The amazing work of the fire brigade means it is now nearly out but sure they will remain for the rest of the day. We’ll update you if we hear anything else. (Photo M Cole)

Time for a little Spring gardening! We want Pooh Corner to be as colourful on the outside as it is on the inside and should ensure lots of smiles from those who visit, like the wonderful ladies from the USA who visited this morning x
